The agreement service with the beach establishment on the second beach of Porto Pino is good, including a shuttle service. Checking the prices of the establishment, this service is not really free, so consider whether you plan to use it or not. We took advantage of it since getting to the beach from the hotel is a walk of about 30 minutes and in the heat it is not always pleasant. If you have a car you can get to the paid car parks near the first beach, but then it always takes about fifteen/twenty minutes on foot to get to the partner establishment. This needs to be evaluated. The shuttle service runs at set times, but you just need to make an agreement with reception and book to use it easily.
Very clean rooms, average size.
Nice restaurant, good food quality, but not particularly varied. In the morning, a selection of homemade cakes - good - with little salt and empty croissants to fill yourself. There is no classic buffet, you have to be served by waiters. Breakfast in the morning is outdoors and the presence of bees on some days was annoying.
Dinner with appetizer offered, choice between three first courses, three second courses, three side dishes, offered dessert or fruit. Drinks excluded to be paid separately. Not all the dishes were good, the fish was better than the meat.
The sea is wonderful and the second beach with the dunes at the bottom is a dream!!! It's worth it for that alone.
The town practically doesn't exist, only very few shops on the street. Worth considering if you are looking for a place to take evening walks.
Overall very restful holiday (which was what we wanted).
Sore notes:
wifi practically unusable, size TV in the room from laptop.
The most disappointing part concerns the kitchen.
Despite the choice of the right menu, the quality of the dishes is not enough. Out of three dinners, twice the pasta was cooked and once the risotto ditto. Mixed fried overcooked and not crispy. Swordfish served as a main course was actually a cold appetizer accompanied by pickled vegetables.
Just enough desserts.
If you want to relive the nightmare of Covid breakfast is the ideal time. Discreet choice but served by staff positioned behind Plexiglas panels that do not allow you to choose independently what is in what quantity.
Really a shame because the structure deserves and above all has the potential to do much better in the culinary field by promoting quality local cuisine.
Uncomfortable bedding and old room with a ridiculous sized TV, air conditioning does not work properly.
We had to cancel our second night for imperative health reason, we left before 10am and the Inn refuses to refund us despite our requests, they claim that this is not possible for bookings made via Booking...
It is a lie, Booking has contacted them and they refuse to cancel without charge to pocket our money when we did not stay another day and we vacated the room well in time, it is shameful of them, it is a well-established business, they take advantage of tourists by asking exorbitant Awards for the quality of services that is not at the rendezvous. They refuse to answer our phones, they hang up on us and are not at all conciliatory!
I strongly advise against this Inn, which makes fun of people and charges you 2.5 euros per half bottle of water (50cl) and 3 euros per bath towel.
Unpleasant staff, not even worth 2 stars.
The restaurant also offers few dishes, but tasty and well prepared: although we like to look for different places to experiment with cuisine, we ended up always having dinner in the hotel because it was the best place in the area.
Price normal.
I advise.
I really liked the style of the furnishings
And that's why we came back for the third time bringing friends
Quiet and comfortable rooms.
Impeccable cleaning service.
Location close to beaches and ease in reaching neighboring countries.
Aspects for improvement:
Breakfast completely to review, every day the same offer with only donuts of different flavors and empty croissants. There were also no local products, only poor quality food. The bread to toast were slices of bread cut (not in boxes) of I don't know which day. The savory breakfast very scarce, there were no scrambled eggs and bacon, only boiled eggs already cooked and not kept warm.
Breakfast is served with a barrier as in the times of covid from 8 to 9:30... in any hotel it is from 7:30 to 10:30 so very binding.
The gate for parking and pedestrian access closes around 23/23.15, to return after this time you must contact the caretaker by phone.
We were required to settle the bill the night before and not at check out. We never had the facility explicitly request the balance. Among other things, both at the time of payment and the day after check out they were not the least bit interested in how the stay went. In general very little care and empathy towards the guests.
It is located in a quiet area, on the edge of the pond. The few shops of Porto Pino can be reached on foot, the beach with a pleasant walk of about 20 minutes. The structure is surrounded by a beautiful, well-kept garden. There is a large car park and a children's play area. The rooms are quiet, fresh, comfortable and spacious. They have a walk-in closet, small terrace, and large, fully functional bathroom.
"Sweet" breakfast, with good and various homemade cakes,
and dinner which also offers traditional Sardinian dishes.
Very kind staff.
I would go back tomorrow...
