I stayed here for one night with my dog for a stopover to Exeter. The room was very comfortable with an ensuite power shower with plenty of breakfast items to choose from in the fridge. An unconventional b & b however I had a lovely stay. The rooms are very private with your own entry code to get in, and...

Dog friendly, nice little bolt hole tucked away off the beaten track. Stay here if you want a good, clean stop on your travels around Devon. It's a basic stay with power shower, comfy beds and a fridge full of food. The owner is a welcoming, charming, elderly lady who clearly works incredibly hard to please her guests. Please don't...

It is always good to hear that guests have enjoyed their stay. I think that the dogs feel territorial sometimes.

This place is a bit dated but clean and comfortable. The DIY breakfast wouldn't suit everyone but it worked for us although it was limited. If we had asked I'm sure the owner would have provided more milk but we ran out so couldn't have cereal and the bread was medium not thick sliced which isn't great for toasting! The...

I travelled with my dogs to this place where I quite frankly didn't feel safe. Upon arrival we had to ring a bell and as there was no reply walked through the open door of the house and had to call out. There was a commode straight in front of us. Then appeared a young lady who couldn't speak English...

This guest was extremely dissatisfied before she saw the accommodation, maintaining that to be 'dog friendly' required a lawn for dogs to use, despite my stating that it simply means I will accommodate dogs. One expects a certain amount of dog hair, but if the state in which the room was left were typical, I would not take them. Everywhere,...

We stayed two nights while attending the local Bradninch Music Festival. The location and bus service was very good, the rooms clean, and staff friendly. Breakfast was basic DIY but fine. Parking was tight but not really an issue. Added bonus was the free 'taxi' service to and from a very good gastro pub a couple of miles away.

This establishment has declined since our last visit two years ago. Whilst we enjoyed the freedom of preparing our own breakfast from goods supplied, one of the yoghurts was out of date and the bread in the freezer was barely frozen (even after three nights). The room smelt musty, the shower had two heat settings; hot or scalding...regulated by turning...

Booked on line received confirmation email and contacted owner to confirm arrival at 9pm. When we arrived to the Coach House our room had already been taken with no alternative room available. The organisation was very confusing with the owner unfortunately chair bound due to a hip replacement the rooms are left to a young French gentlemen whose understanding of...

Yes the dogs do bark, but dogs do, did not keep us awake, charming location and accomodation, definitely value for money, lovely lady owner, relaxed continental breakfast, super hot power shower and very comfortable beds

It is always gratifying to receive a favourable review, and I am glad that these guests enjoyed their stay. I think the neighbour's dogs may be territorial, and sometimes overdo their guarding duties.

We arrived expecting a cot for my granddaughter aged 5 mths which we had asked for and been assured the night before would be available. an eldelry lady told us she had no knowledge of this and they didn't normally "do babies" and could the child not sleep in a drawer or on a mattress on the floor. We asked...

This review stemmed from the perceived cot issue. Although I do welcome babies, I do not provide equipment for babies, and have never been asked to do so. Parents prefer, I think, to travel with their own. I did not state that a cot would be available, and it would be pointless and ridiculous for me to do so as...

Met on our arrival by the barking of the neighbours dogs, which continued for most of our stay (although silent overnight). The room was in a dark corner of the property and smelt a bit musty. Although sort of clean, there was plenty of dust and cobwebs in less obvious places. The mattresses were aged and a bit saggy in...
