A historic pub, visually very attractive from outside and a warm, cosy old world bar area inside. Two real ales plus good choice of others. Roxy does a great job in welcoming you with a smile and making life feel good. Food is good value, especially the mains. The room we had was ok although rather basic. No problem with...

My husband stayed here last night due to our lorry breaking down and had to be towed to Volvo garage in Gloucester. The girls at Volvo recommended this B&B to him. He said he was thoroughly looked after and enjoyed the dinner & his breakfast and thought the £3 charge for upgrading his breakfast was more than reasonable. He apologises...

we went here saturday for an evening meal. lovely old building form the 14th century with an open fire. food was a bit overpriced in my opinion. £5.99 for 2x tiny mozzarella sticks, 3x breaded mushrooms and 2 x chicken strips. steak was nice so couldn't complain too much. will come back in the future but maybe we will order...

The Little Thatch is a regular choice of ours as they are dog friendly. It is always warm and welcoming, with friendly staff. Food is gorgeous and reasonably priced. When sitting inside it certainly doesn't feel like you are a few miles away from the City Centre but more like you are out in the country.

We decided to use the Thatch for the wake following the death of my mother. The staff were friendly and the sandwiches/quiche/cakes served were of good quality and plentiful. The cost was very reasonable and the ample free parking was ideal.

Visited this evening with a close friend. We heard good things about this place, oh how we could be so wrong. The food tasted like it was precooked the day before and the service was mediocre at best. I ordered the battered cod which unfortunately wasn't skinned and as such got a surprise when I cut into the watery mess...

My partner and I had a rare child free weekend and after a days work decided we would walk to the Little Thatch (a fair trek from other local eateries). On arrival we enquired as to where we should sit and were directed to the rear room. The two of us were the only ones there; maybe this should have...

Stayed for one night as we were attending a wedding nearby. When we arrived we parked the car then attempted to get into the building . There was no proper reception and a sign on the side door to say go to the main pub door. We walked round but as the pub was closed had to ring a doorbell...

We stayed here after our friends wedding. The hotel was full as the majority of guests from the wedding stayed here. The hotel is a little dated and in need of some refurbishment but it was very clean and quiet. We had no problems checking in and the afternoon staff were helpful and polite. However, the following morning was a...

Me and a few colleagues stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms were cosy, beds were comfy and bathroom was clean. Food was decent until a young woman served us an was quiet rude, the same happened at breakfast... we requested a table for 4 and the waiter *sigh'd* and muttered under her breath, it was that rude we all had...
