Stayed here in room 7 a few days ago with one of my daughters, it was so beautiful. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and our room was outstanding. We had meals there on both nights, and the food including breakfast was first class. The building itself is very historica, sol well worth reading about it before you visit...All...

Beautiful modern clean room. ( only one had a bath so book ahead) We had an evening meal in the restaurant which serves locally sourced dishes. Plenty of choice of whisky too.A peaceful night's sleep followed by a fresh cooked breakfast in the conservatory.

On a miserable gloomy day it was a real pleasure to walk into The Ragged Cot. The decor is very pleasant and comfortable and I would score it 9 out of 10. The food and service I would score 7 out of 10. Good but not exceptional. I had loin of cod with baked potato risotto and pickled mushrooms. I...

We returned to The Ragged Cot after 19 years for a special celebration with friends. It was really great. The service was excellent, a charming waitress who was so friendly. The food was very good indeed, well prepared and delicious. It was reasonably priced, and had a good wine list that was also sensibly priced. The bedrooms were very comfortable....

Went with my daughter. We had the steak and the Bbq pulled pork burger. What can I say except very yummy. The triple cooked chips was a touch boring and no salad with the burger. Great service, a touch pricey, but worth it. Would return again for sure.

This a lovely rural pub in a quiet setting. It has been sympathetically modernised from the original pub. The breakfast was great. I imagine the evening meal would have been great too although it looked expensive. Very friendly staff. Bedroom slightly on the warm side. Bathroom basin didnt seem to have a plug to keep water in and not good...

My boyfriend very sweetly surprised me and organised a weekend break in the Cotswald and I am delighted he chose the Ragged Cot for our destination. The rooms were beautiful, bespoke, clean, modern but with a traditional feel, we couldn't fault them! Breakfast was filling and plentiful, and the staff were extremely pleasant and nice. I would thoroughly recommend the...

Had intended to go elsewhere but the reviews on Tripadvisor persuaded us to try the Ragged Cot. So glad we did! Very good welcome on the phone for our booking and on arrival. Delightfully furnished, warm comforting dining area. Very comfortable chairs. The food we found to be superior in every way, delicious arancini (so cheesy), partridge cooked to perfection,...

Busy pub on Friday night - but nowhere to sit, standing room only. Bedroom OK but little tired ( towelling robes need replacing) Breakfast next morning not too good. Bland cereal - no porridge, toast, cooked and juice. No fruit, fresh or otherwise - no yoghurt, no pastries. Some of butter pats were off and ' cheese like'. All in...

After a last minute decision to go out for lunch on 5th November we decided to go to the Ragged Cot. There were seven of us and I appriciate that slightly larger tables can be difficult to accomodate last minute on a busy Saturday afternoon. However, we were given a table without issue (we were lucky as the restaurant soon...
