Arranged to stay here with a number of friends for a weekend. Wendy and her husband John were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay, with advice on eating, taxi hire, walks and other activities in the area. All of our rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable, and the guest lounge area was a lovely space to relax...

I have visited the Old School on numerous occasions, this time for a friends birthday. Wendy could not have done more for us, arranging reservations, suggesting places to visit and adding those little extras. I will be back!

We visited The Old School B&B with a group of girlfriends for a special birthday. Wendy could not have been lovelier or more accommodating. We were greeted warmly, given a guided tour and shown our beautiful rooms. I stayed on the ground floor and the room and bed were very comfortable, with a huge well-equipped ensuite bathroom- water pressure for...

Wendy is an amazing hostess! Very approachable, warm and friendly. She recommended us local places to eat before we even arrived. We were made to feel very welcome and were happy to call this place home for a few days. The old school itself is beautiful with an amazing fireplace in the communal sitting room. Our room was very clean...

This B&B ticks all the boxes! Wendy has literally thought of everything. The food and attention to detail were amazing. Felt incredibly lucky to be staying in such a lovely place with a very welcoming host. Location is great for looking round all the lovely villages, gift shops and antiques. I can not recommend this as a place to stay...

I have just got back from a few night stay for a friends 30th birthday and had the best time staying here. Rooms are amazing, comfy beds and Wendy really has thought of everything. Breakfast is lovely, fresh eggs from the Hen's daily. Wendy cooked as a 3 course meal one night and I would highly recommend going. I will...

The location is great for getting to many of the local towns a short drive away, and it's a short walk away from Chastleton House. Loads of NT/EH places not too far away. Wendy and John are fabulous hosts. Their local knowledge is superb, and nothing is too much trouble. A visit to Cluckingham Palace is a must. The five...

I have stayed at The Old School Bed & Breakfast twice now, and both stays have been wonderful. The host, Wendy, is extremely welcoming and puts everyone at ease. On this trip we took my partner's elderly grandmother who was rather anxious about being away from home for the first time in many years - we needn't have worried, Wendy...
