Stayed here for the easy access to Newcastle and the airport, as well as the free parking. Easy to get to, near a KFC and TGI Friday's. The room looked a little bit tired at first but was completely clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and no noise problems. Light sleepers nearest the railway line might not get on with the...

A very pleasurable experience staying here. Location was ideal for easy access to eateries and shops, also a quick cross over the railway line to a lovely walk in the sun. Room was fresh and cool, bed was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. I will definitely be staying for my business trip again.

Arrived earlier than our check in time and Tara the receptionist kindly allowed us in one of our rooms to leave our bags before heading out. Answered all our queries such as places to go and taxis etc. Top notch. Thankyou so much

Booked this hotel for a girls weekend and to see a football match. The room was just as expected and normal for a travelodge. It is the staff here that make it stand out from others we have stayed in. Everyone was so friendly. The receptionist were great and made you feel that you were friends and not just guests....

We would recommend this hotel in Gateshead as excellent value for money. The customer service received exceeded from far other service received at much higher priced hotels. Our room was large, comfy and very clean. Lovely shower facility with good pressure. The staff were also very knowledgeable of the area and recommended where to have a good breakfast and dinner...

Our experience of staying here was very good. We were received by Cheryl, she was very warm and friendly. She helped us with information and places to see nearby. We had a room with the river view. At our arrival my little one was given lots of colours and papers which kept her busy. The hotel was very quiet, it...

I found this hotel to be clean and comfortable. The room was plenty big enough and any noise from the corridor was perfectly acceptable. The staff were all friendly and helpful and although there is no restaurant at the hotel there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and even more if you drive 5 minutes to the Metro Centre....

We often stop here if planning a large shopping trip to the metro centre etc.. Free parking is a bonus, and spoiled for choice for places to eat and drink in the evening, we usually go to the pub, the skiff inn. Room was clean, warm and cosy, receptionist friendly, stopped in 309, facing the train lineage river. Reasonably quiet...
