The welcome, the accommodation and the food were all very good.A dog friendly, small (3 bedrooms)hotel in a very quiet, small village in lovely countryside.Michelle and Martin are excellent hosts who have revitalised the hotel.
Just had two nights at the Borgue. Fab food, drink and chat. Even managed to have two great musical nights. Missing it already and we will be back. We wish Martin, Michelle and Luke continued happiness up North.
Small and friendly pub with 3 newly renovated rooms. Small menu of home cooked bar meals. The breakfast was fantastic! Highly recommended if you want to visit this lovely part of the world. We shall be going back!
A traditional village pub offering good drinks, good food and convivial atmosphere. Easy parking to the rear. Mobile telephone coverage in this rural area is not reliable but good at the pub, wifi available for those wanting to catch up on emails
After regularly stopping here for a beer on our way through the village during bike rides we decided to ask Martin if he was able to accommodate up to 25 of us turning up from a nearby campsite to celebrate my 40th birthday.
