Great location and lively grounds in a beautiful part of the country. Attended for a wedding venue , but the food was good and the staff generally attentive and helpful.only issue was they flat refused to serve any other drinks except wine for most of the evening (I fancied a beer!) and it is quite far from a major town,...

We booked this hotel to experience a Chateau visit whilst in France, the hotel is lovely to look at and visit ,but we felt like we were staying in a museum, our room had a antique childrens cot in it which we found quite disturbing. We had quite a long journey to the place and were very disappointed to find...

This has an instant Wow factor from the moat and castle exterior to the lovely inner courtyard. This feels like a slightly dated but well to do family home with a smattering of antiques and older furnishings and a coloured bathroom suite c1970s. It is charming rather than luxurious. Good sized bedroom though a step into the bathroom is rather dangerous...

This place really is special and very reasonably priced. It has a real historic feel to it despite it being modernised to be a more comfortable hotel. It would be a brilliant place for a special birthday or wedding due to the layout. The breakfast is lovely and Rita the dog is very happy to make friends with you! Its...

We were travelling back home from the Dordogne and had booked one night in this beautiful chateau to break the journey, and what a glorious stop over it was too. We were met by Florence, the manager, who was delightful and so helpful and who also served us dinner in the dining hall that evening. Our four poster bed was...

It is like going back to medieval times, with kings and queens. The Chateau is relatively small, but very well preserved, with stone walls, arched windows, towers, gates and moats. You can easily imagine knights, with their horses, in the court yard, wearing their shining armor, waiting for the orders from the king. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, all furnished...

A real castle in a peaceful location. Lovely wooden floors! Our room was furnished in the style of Louis XVI. The restaurant and breakfast room was great, the atmosphere was really special. There was a nice park surrounding the castle.

We got lost getting there. The GPS could not find it. But, when we finally did reach there after a 5 hour drive from Paris we did not want to leave. It is like a medieval luxurious chateau. It's surrounded by a moat, has landscaped lawns, and the interiors are luxuriously decorated. The rooms were big. It's value for money...

Spent a night at The Chateau on the way back from the South of France. The property is surrounded by a moat and its own extensive grounds. Buildings surround a courtyard and with a little imagination one can hear the sounds of horse and carriage and staff running about! The rooms are huge (one takes 7 guests!) and all differently...
