We stayed at FRB for three nights after our stay in Manual Antonio and before heading to the Caribbean/Punta Uva area. We really appreciated this property coming from Manual Antonio, which was animal/adventure heavy and a great way to jumpstart our first trip to Costa...More
Highly recommend staying at Finca Rosa Blanca, the architecture and decor of the accommodation are beautifully unique. Great service and good food in the restaurant.
FRB is a very tranquil place set amongst a forest, yet so close to San Jose. We stayed for 2...More

A former private home set in a botanical garden coffee plantation. Do not miss this art deco treasure. A small number of rooms and suites overlooking the gardens with San Jose off in the distance. Treat yourself with a visit to their spa. Ask for...More
The unique rooms offer local feel and outdoor experience while indoors. The food is local and outstanding. The kitchen staff take clear pride in their work and were easily able to cater to our two kids with Celiac disease. Gluten free eating was natural. The...More

We have all kinds of visitors to Finca Rosa Blanca, including single women, single men, couples, families, business people and adventure travellers. I am sure we can accommodate your every need and you will meet interesting people who are drawn to a place like our small hotel/coffee plantation.
It is very tranquil and visually beautiful here (we consider our resort a work of art), but we offer a lot of different tours when one wants to get out a bit: cultural tours, culinary& chocolate tours, hiking in the cloud forest, volcanoes and so much more.
And our chef, Gustavo \Alvarado is really amazing and uses all of our greenhouse "farm to fork" idea of slow food, with lots of creative dishes using Costa Rican ingredients.
Please check out our web page and you can read in more detail about who we are- a family owned (3 generations) experience.
