Highly recommended. We were a group of five people. We stayed in the lodge during two nights visiting the varios tribes in the Omo valley. We evento crossed river Omo in one very special boat. Native people very kind and friendly to us. We visited the markets of Mursis and other tribes in the area. Ir is true that natives...

It's not great versus other hotels. The rooms feel like concrete huts with a really average bathroom with very weak hot water. No wifi outside of the restaurant area. And rooms generally a bit dirty. Restaurant is just passable for breakfast and dinner. But the laundry service is fast and cheap. The massage is good and ok priced at 280...

this is the best in the area but don't expect much. the room was clean and the water hot the electric lead from the light taped to the wall between bathroom and bed room was a little alarming especially as it was low enough I had to duck under it! The staff were friendly and the food fine. I was...

This is the best lodging in the area. It has its own generator so you are assured of electricity, at least during certain times of the night and morning, and we had hot water - items that are not necessarily amenities that are universal in the area. So we were satisfied with this lodging. It was clean, the receptionists were...

Nice little huts in a pleasant garden setting. Restaurant was good. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend Buska Lodge. Communication was difficult before we arrived and when we did get there they had no record of our booking so double-check they have your booking before you come.

No early breakfast and hot plate after 9 pm, it is quite and slept like a baby after camping for two consecutive nights. sounds the first choice for group travelers and I bet the best place to stay in the area (if you are not fan of camping).

Having taken our clients for overnight stays at Turmi's Buska Lodge over the past couple of years, I felt it was well deserved to write them a good review. Being one of only three Lodges in the remote Turmi of the Lower Omo Valley in South-West Ethiopia (worth adding the best one of the three), the level of accommodation in...

I suppose this is the best accomodation available in Turmi, which is a really remote area, but facilities are really far below average when you compare it with hotels or lodges elsewhere in the world. The place is dark and not entirely clean. Cobwebs are present and the occasional big spider and insects in the bathroom is not uncommon. Electricity...

I was a volunteer in Turmi for 3 weeks and spend several evenings at the Buska Lodge - we were housed at the adjacdent Mango campsite so a short 10 minute walk through the bush got us to this beautiful Lodge. I had several dinners ther and they were all very good. I met the manager as well as the...
