We received a very warm and friendly welcome from Diane and John, followed by a much-needed cup of tea and biscuits after our long journey. The room was excellent, with lovely views over the Forest of Bowland, and everything you could possibly need. We also had our own sitting-room. Breakfasts were marvellous, with fruit, cereals, home-made yogurt, bread, jam and...

Received a warm welcome with coffee & biscuits on arrival. The property is located on a quiet country lane with great views over the rolling fields. Car parking is off road behind a gated entrance, a little difficult reversing in the dark. The facilities are pristine with separate lounge/dining area, with own tv and plenty of reading material. The bedroom...

Rarely on our trips have we had hosts who were as friendly, courteous, and willing to spend time with us as were Diane and John. They were wonderful hosts in a B&B that is lovely on the inside and the outside. Our stay was one of the coldest and windiest that we've ever had in the British isles at this...

We stayed for 3 nights and will definitely return. Diane & John are the best, and loveliest, hosts we've ever come across and their attention to detail is second to none. We could wax lyrical about the beautiful house, stunning location, superior breakfast and high standards but the best advise we can give is to go and experience it for...

We stayed at Crooklands for one night on our way to the Lake District and one night was definitely not long enough! Diane & John are perfect hosts and their B&B is a credit to them and we were made to feel extremely welcome. My husband has some mobility problems and after being out for our evening meal Diane was...

Beautiful location fantastic views across the valley, well presented bedroom, very clean and tidy. However the best part of this guest house is the owners . Warm welcome, we arrived late and was offered tea ,coffee and biscuits in the cosy guest room. In the morning we were offered a great breakfast selection, the cooked breakfast was sourced locally and...
