This is a lovely place to stay especially if you are needing a break from the big cities. Our hosts made us feel at home. They cooked dinner and breakfast for us which we ate in their lovely dining room. Food was delicious. Showers are hot and wifi is available. There are two cute, little dogs here that I enjoyed...

We had actually stayed at this guest house on 29-30 December 2010, but since I can't select a date that far away to review, I have selected December 2014 here. The reason I decided to write about this place after almost 5 years is because I still think about the lovely time we spent here, especially Kalpanaji's absolutely delicious home-cooked...

The cottages are in a very quiet spot which is lovely after having spend time in a city. There are a lot of birds around. The lady of the house is a great cook. This is an ideal spot to relax after visiting a busy city.

The Shekhawati guest house is located in a small rural town in the Shekhawati region. We had a pleasant stay in the bungalows. They are clean and very comfortable. The owners of the place are very friendly and helpfull, we felt very welcome, also the food was magnificent. If you need some peace and quite after seeing half India, I...

Nawalgarh is a small town in the Shekhwati region, and the best way to experience it is to stay at the Shekhawati guest house. A stone's throw from the main town, you can simply walk to all the tourist attractions and the main market area, yet it lies just on the periphery of the town which makes the mornings and...

This time, we decided to spend the National Holiday combined with the long festive break at Nawalgarh, despite hot weather. We explored a few guest houses through the internet and finally narrowed down to Shekhawati Guest House. The initial response we received over phone while making reservation / booking was quite affable, gracious & prompt. We opted for the Eco-cottage,...

I personally think this was the best place to stay in nawalgarh, you'll still find some other places that have extravagance and royalty, haveli turned hotels and all. But if you want to experience the rustic and ethnic lifestyle, then this is the most ideal place. This place is run by Mrs Kalpana who is a very warm, friendly and...

We had a great stay in one of the fan rooms on the first floor (600 Rupees per night). The room was spacious and very, very clean. We had dinner at this guesthouse every night of our stay. We could choose between a small set menu for 200 Rupees (dal, vegetable curry, rice, chapati) and a big set menu for...

This guest house is an oasis of peace away from the noisy streets - though Nawalgarh itself is pretty relaxed with wonderful havelis. The cottages in the garden offer very comfortable accommodation in a restful rural setting. Mrs Kalpana Singh was just so friendly, welcoming and caring. And despite a dreadful downpour that nearly ruined her beautiful organic vegetables and...
