Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives is celebrated for its breathtaking location and serene ambiance, with guests often mesmerized by the picturesque views and sunset vistas. While the range of dining options and personalized services garners appreciation, some guests feel the room facilities could benefit from a refresh. Arrived for a 10 day holiday hb in The Grand Park Koddohipu to be greeted by wonderful staff members at the jetty, made us feel very special. Our villa host Loo Ee was amazing. She continually checked in with us throughout our stay and made sure everything was to our liking and sorted out any minor problems instantly. Cannot thank her enough, she was a wonderful host, they are very lucky to have her!!🥰

We stayed in a water villa which was our 1st time doing so (been twice before to other islands) and it was everything you'd expect it to be...spacious, clean and tidy and it was great just stepping down the ladder into a beautiful calm ocean. Thank you Ryyaan for doing a wonderful job looking after us.🙏 you are so dedicated and hopefully will go up the ladder to management as it would be well deserved, you worked so had to make our stay enjoyable, loved all the thoughtful decorations you did on the bed for us, we appreciated it.🥰 There were buggies that you call to drive you where you want to go around the island and they were great.

The food was delicious, so much choice! We had three restaurants we could go to so tried them all. We spent most of our stay eating at the Edge Restaurant...amazing, delicious food and service was impeccable wonderful staff including Durka and Ahmed and all the team and the kitchen staff looked after us very well too. The Breeze bar was the same, ate there twice in our 10 day stay...beautiful food and wonderful staff, couldn't do enough for us, thank you. We went to the Firedoor once during our stay too as it was our anniversary and the service there was fantastic...thank you Adam and the team for making our meal very special. Be prepared to pay extra there tho, cost us a lot extra but it was a 5* Restaurant.

The pool was wonderful, biggest we've seen there 45m long, so cool and relaxing. Loved going snorkeling (they give you free snorkels and flippers for your stay). The sea was so warm and beautiful, a picture postcard although it was very corally so take water shoes.

Only negative was the price of things outside of our package so be careful...wines or beers about 12/13 dollars, fanta 7 dollars, cocktails 14/16 dollars.

Would highly recommend going there, very relaxing and great as only a 20 min speed boat ride away from Male.

If you're looking for a Paradise Island with all the luxury...this is it! Thank you to all the staff which made our stay so wonderful.🥰😍

We stayed in this beautiful resort for our honeymoon. In general, we enjoyed our stay very much! Great sunsets view from the main pool.

The good:
* Great Yoga class (complimentary) on sunrise with the amazing teacher Himani!
* Beautiful rooms (we stayed in lagoon water vila)
* The staff were very kind and professional.
* For those who care for marine life like us- we were pleased to see that the hotel doesn't use plastic at all. they use reusable straws for drinks, only glass water bottles, etc.
The bad:
* Not enough options for dining (only 2 restaurants with a limited menu, and 1 buffet restaurant which costs 100$ per person per dinner, not including any drinks-not even water)
* We saw 2 big trash bags full of rubbish float in front of our room (which I took out of the water myself, and it seemed the hotel doesn't really care enough of that).
* The general feeling is the hotel's vibe is not generous which is expected from a 5-star hotel for honeymooners.

We had a wonderful honeymoon vacation to Grand Park Kodhipparu. Our villa was modern, clean, and spacious. Our private deck overlooked the coral reef, which was great for snorkeling. The hotel provided beach towels and snorkel equipment. While we traveled during Covid, the hotel staff practiced social distancing, mask wearing, and had hand sanitizing stations as well as daily temperature checks. Our airline required Covid testing prior to departure and the resort was able to accommodate us with tests 72 hours prior to our departing flight, without having to leave the island. Everything was within walking distance with beautiful views. The food was phenomenal, from breakfast to dinner. The menu had a lot to offer and the only thing missing was ranch, which we asked for and the chef had made a batch specifically for us the following meal! The waiter staff were all pleasant and accommodating, especially restaurant manager Shiyam. Actually all of the staff at the resort were friendly. The island is also eco friendly using glass bottles for water distribution and metal straws. There was a recreational center that hosted multiple table games and a gym. There was also a water sports center that offered multiple ocean activities. All in all, this was the most amazing vacation to date and I could go on and on about our perfect stay on this incredible island.

Without any doubt this have been most comfortable and luxurious trip ever for us. During planning for the vacation, we had options like Thailand, Singapore, Andaman Island and Maldives; we choose Maldives but were bit concerned for the cost as it’s an expensive place( Mostly seen celebrity posts for the place ). We choose this place after long research considering all options like location, facilities, boat transportation and cost, of course I stood out. We stayed at the property for 4 nights in Ocean water villa (over the water) that was with beautiful ocean view and luxurious interior. Island is so beautiful with all facilities like restaurants, pub, game zone, water sports, free snorkel equipment, gym and yoga sections. It cost us around 4500 USD for the period inclusive of breakfast, boat transportation to & from airport and flights between Mumbai and Male. It was amazing and unforgettable experience with following positives
1) Game section is open from 10-11 and consists of play station, chess, pool, volleyball, ping pong, carom etc all free of cost.
2) They have decent gym and free yoga classes ( beach yoga as well) for guests
3) Free snorkel and life jacket is provided to every guest on arrival
4) Half board meal I.e. Breakfast buffet is superbly delicious with so many options of all cuisines that too vary daily.
5) There are 3 restaurants in the property with quality food and liquor. One restaurant is having big pool with edge towards ocean.
6) They also have Spa but that is not included in the package. We took couple full body massage and that was amazing.
7) Special candlelight dinner at beach facility (bit costly) and beach movie are arranged for the guests.
8) They have small transportation vehicle called “Buggie” which can be called from anywhere on request to roam on the island. Easily accessible
9) Beach is very clean and water is crystal clear blue.
10) Staff is very friendly
11) Credit cards work there without any problem.
12) Villas are very luxurious ( check their site)
13) WiFi is fast and available on whole island.
Overall it’s highly recommended place, we would definitely like to go again. It was the best time we ever had on any trip.

First of all, The two stars rating that I have placed is mainly because the welcoming and polite staff especially Omar. The moment you step into the island you will feel the welcoming vibe, but after the first night you will start to notice the short comings of the resort. Lack of cleanliness especially the dining dishes, make sure to double check the drinking cups at the restaurants there once where I found bugs inside of the cup. The room service varies sometimes it take them more than 1 hr to bring couple of towels, and make sure to ask for the buggy earlier than 10-15min at least. I stayed at the “ocean pool villa”, and they lack the privacy , safety which sharp edges can be seen all around the pool. Late check-in, which we arrived at 8am and received the room at 1pm total of 4hrs setting outdoor without them providing any kind of hospitality and accommodations until the time of receiving the room. I tried their private cinema, and won’t worth the amount of money you’re paying for 280$ for such experience. Buffet food was great, but sometimes I felt like most of the cooked food is frozen. Overall, I would recommend any other suitable resort to compare with other 5star resorts at the Maldives.

Very nice place, with personalized service staff that took care of us during all our stay. The pool villa was very nice with beautiful sunsets views, the privacy was 9/10 because our neighbors had a drone. They provide snorkel equipment at no charge, you can snorkel almost anywhere in the island the water is very clear and calm.
However the price is super expensive they charge you for water, lunch and dinner a great amount per person per day. They have no bicycles so you need to call to reception to pick you up and most part of the day we stayed in our villa because it was super burning hot. I recommend getting a pool water villa totally worth it.

I do not like to write reviews but have decided to do it this time.
I would like to thank the hotel and staff, who works there, who helped us to spend wonderful time.

First of all, I want to thank them for cooperation, because they have agreed to understand our situation and change the dates for our stay (some of our company have received positive PCR in few days before the arrival)

Secondly, I really liked the yoga sessions. I would neber thought that I could wake up at 5 am every morning, when I am at vacation. But wonderful Himani motivated even my sister to come (My sister is never waking up earlier than midday without a good reason). Thanks a lot for individual approach and really helping!

Thirdly I would really recommend to visit the spa at the island - it was wonderful. Especially I liked the opportunity to sit and drink my tea after the treatment with the great ocean view.

Also I liked that we had a personal manager, who was solving all our queries via Whatsapp. But you should be prepared, that nothing is fast, when it is 30+ degrees outside.

We have stayed at Reef Villas. Well, you do have a reef next to it. I have seen a sea turtle (and I must say, that I am not a snorkling person).

Well, about the stuff you should be careful about: I did not enjoy the fishing trip - no fish, always were changing the place, not a great sunset. Personally, I think, it is overpriced. Also it would be nice, if the hotel gives us a discount/store credit/free diner, if noone at the boat got any fish. So be careful about that.

Next thing: the prices for in-villa dining and eating at the restaurant differs from each other. Have an eye on it.

The most expensive restaurant has a nice view and location, but it has no salad at all and very small variety of vegetarian food. So if you prefer this kind of food or allergic to sea food, you should be careful there.

Overall, I enjoyed our stay at the hotel!
Hopefully, this review will help you and tell you smth. Have a great stay at Maldives!

The property is situated very close to the airport and it is only a 20 minute speedboat ride. We were met by a representative at the airport who then guided us to the speedboat.

The property is quite small and can be covered end to end by foot in 15 minutes. The management does not provide bicycles and there is no need for it. You can call for the golf cart if you are unable to walk.

This will be a holiday in every sense unless you decide to partake in the extra tours offered and fill your day. You can absolutely relax , enjoying some water sports and snorkeling with the sounds of the ocean 24*7. Sunscreen and flip flops are absolutely required.

The villas on the water are truly picturesque. You can see multitude of fish from the room and deck. The decor is pleasing and bathroom is modern. Both 110and 220v and USB outlets are available in the room and bathroom. There is ample closet space. Watch out for missing or loose tiles if you have a pool villa.

Drinking Water is provided in the room and is free but is chargeable in the restaurant and bar. We had the Full board package, so all our meals were free at the “Edge” restaurant which is buffet style. There was variety in the cuisine and plenty of Vegetarian, Vegan and gluten free options. The staff were very courteous and friendly, specially “Zihaan”, “Sameel”, “Wajeeh” and “Rekha”.

A credit of $45 each is allowed for the premium restaurant “Firedoor” but the entrees are overpriced there and vegetarian options are minimal. We gave it a miss.

The Breeze pool bar and restaurant is trendy and worth visiting but you need to have a lot of patience with the service. We had to wait 45 minutes as they messed up our drink order. Service improved greatly once the F&B manager “Adnan” came and talked to us and attended to us personally. The cocktails are awesome and kudos to the bartender here.

Alcohol cannot be brought into Maldives but the resorts can serve alcohol. It is quite pricey unless you have an all inclusive package.

If you need a PCR test for your return journey, the resort will arrange it on site for $100.

I would highly recommend WorldNet Travel who made my travel arrangements with their Maldives partner - Capital Travel who were able to book this vacation at the last minute for us.

We are living in Phuket and had just 4 nights on this little paradise. No waiting from Male for the 20 minute speedboat trip. Very warm welcome, quick and easy check in. Beautiful water villa, perfect diving and nice food (we tried all restaurants). The bathroom is a real highlight and housekeeping was just perfect.
Direct water access for snorkelling and the endless view.
No, the little buggies are not disturbing - you can also walk as everything is close.
Yes, you can always find something to complain (or you just address to Management and they take care!).
Yes, it is a bit expensive but think about where they get all the food and beverages from and see the service!
All new equipment and well maintained for all water sports. Amazing dive guide with highest experience and service. He kept even his promises for turtles and shark!!
We would always stay here again!

Service feels like they are forced to work and do not like your existence. Food in the main restaurant was bland and tasteless, food is outrageously expensive. The room was never cleaned properly and everytime had to call 2-3 times to get someone to clean it.
