Bayon Modern Residence is a new 4 stars hotel designed in an elegant but modern style. Located on the main road in a quiet area of Siem Reap, it is easily accessible and only 10 minutes walk away from the buzzing Night Market Street. Our rooms are unique as they all have extra space and large windows, which result in plenty of natural light and air.

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff are all very kind and the rooms are clean. The breakfast buffet is also delicious. When we had trouble arranging a taxi, we were worried and didn't know what to do, but the hotel handled it politely on our behalf and even arranged for a taxi for us. We are truly grateful. We will stay here again when we visit Cambodia! We definitely recommend it.
There's a laundry service right in front of the hotel, and it's only about $1 to take a tuk-tuk to the city center, which is great!

When we came to Siem Reap we have chosen this hotel to stay, everything we got is over than expected.Staffs were fantastic, really take care and helpful beautiful smiles always. Hotel was lovely, cleaned, quiet, fresh air environment and we love it. Room was so big, comfortable, breakfast was delicious many options, lunch and dinner is also available, especially room service. Happy hour buy get one free 2-7pm, you should try their massage it is so amazing. Bayon Modern is a hidden gem in Siem Reap.

Loved our stay here. We arrived early AM from Phnom Penh and the hotel security welcomed us easily and allowed us to rest at a spa room and we got early check in @8:00 AM soon there's available room. I booked an online bus ticket and never got the e-ticket in my email and the hotel staff (I didn't get his name) helped me calling the bus company. As I was leaving midnight, they also offered shower and swimming pool to be used before I left. Fully generous service! The location is 3 min to the walking street by tuk-tuk on a quiet peaceful street.
This made my stay in Siem Reap memorably. We need more Khmer people in the world.

We arrived very early morning to leave our luggage before heading out on an 8am tour. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. We had breakfast before heading out. We were allocated a room overlooking the pool on the 3rd floor and it was a large room with bathroom. Tea/Coffee available along with a mini bar fridge and lockbox. The hotel is located just outside of the hussle/bussle of the main town area and therefore is quite a relaxing. However, 1 felt that there was a need to have maintenance on the property along with our room. There was in my opinion a need for the place to have a very good dusting in the reception area and to have the pool area swept of leaves and the few beds by the pool wiped down. Our room had a cracked sink, broken bath tap, the bath had an ingrained ring around it; the 'netting' placed over the four posted bed was filthy. Under the fridge was also very dusty and not had a clean for quite some time. The bed was clean and comfortable, A/C worked brilliantly. We had breakfast included within our hotel package and there was ample selection, however some dishes were luke warm even when attending when the restaurant recently opened in the morning. There are certain aspects in this hotel that are great and some that perhaps the owners need to address.

We arrived in Siem Reap on 18th December 2022 and were collected, as arranged, at the airport by a driver from Bayon Modern Residence. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted with refreshing cool towels and a drink whilst we were checked in Our room, a King suite 303, was bright, clean, cool and spacious. A four poster bed with good quality bed linen and the best pillows so far on our journey. All the facilities were as described, tea/coffee/kettle and bottled water, snacks and a fridge with drinks plus TV with ample channels for all languages. We selected a King suite for the additional comfortable seating area. We were glad we did as we were staying for 4 weeks and like to relax in our own space. There is also comfortable seating in reception, with sockets for mobile phones etc. should you feel you want a change from the room and people watch. Breakfast is included in the price and provides a good selection to choose from. Breakfast does obviously cater to the Asian market, so don't expect a full English. That said, if there is anything you want, just ask as they are more than happy to accommodate the best they can. Although we don't normally eat breakfast and Mrs M is vegetarian, Mr Lay, the food and beverage manager, and Chef were more than happy to adapt or create suitable options. They were both great and very attentive. So too was Mr Lee the operations manager who was always happy to know if everything was to our satisfaction, which it was. The pool is at the centre of the hotel and we used it twice daily for exercise. A little cool, but it is their winter. Happy hour 2 - 7 buy one cocktail or local beer get one free. Reception staff are so helpful and friendly, very efficient, and always happy to assist with a smile. In fact, all of the staff at Beyon Modern Residence, from the owner and managers down to the TukTuk driver's cannot do enough to please. They made us feel part of their family. We selected this hotel for our stay in Siem Reap based on other online customer reviews and we know that you cannot please all the people all of the time, but generally reviews are accurate and good. In our humble opinion we have got to award Bayon Modern Residence 10 out of 10 for customer service and their facilities which met all our needs. We will return next year if not before. Hands down the best kept secret. From the moment you arrive, we were greeted with big smiles, cooling towels and cold refreshing water while we were being checked in. Sometimes it’s the smallest of things that makes it a great place. We stayed for 3 nights and wished we had stayed longer.
The staff continued with their friendly and helpful attitude til the last day. Breakfast was included with the price and that did not disappoint. The food they had were thoughtfully planned out from western food to local food for their guest to enjoy. Nightly happy hour with staff like Thylong Ngek and Sopheall Kim were very informative. They advised us on places to see and things to do. They made us feel homely and welcoming. It was hard to say good bye to them as we had to make our way on our next destination.
I would highly recommend this hotel to my families, friends and anyone that is looking for a hotel to stay in Siem Reap. As it is a Tuk Tuk away from the night market and the happening Pub Street.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. We didn't miss anything: large and clean rooms, always friendly and helpful staff, laundry service and good breakfast with various things. We also organized visits directly with the hotel to Mount Kulen and the Angkor Wat temple complex. Always everything perfect! Driver who accompanied us all day on both days with water always available and during the visit to the temples we also took a guide, Kai, very good, super prepared with perfect English. Although perhaps organizing with the hotel costs a little more but we must say that it is worth it.

Stayed in room 402, very large room, comfortable king bed and a large shower with hot, hot water. It is a $2 tuk tuk ride into Pub Street and there was always some there waiting. You can walk which I did just to get amongst it, it was about a 15-20 minutes.
The one thing I was disappointed with was there is no in-room safe. There are few small things that I feel could be improved to make a guest stay more comfortable like, soap at the sink, toilet roll holder on the wall, shower products labelled.
I stayed as a solo female traveller for 3 days and the staff were super friendly and took very good care of me.
We had a very nice stay, facilitates we’re good and it was a great price.

We stayed here in 2 rooms for a 5 night stay in Siem Reap. The lounge and pool areas are lovely - the pool is a real highlight. Breakfast was a standard buffet of reasonable quality. My husband and I had a “pool cabana” room - I wouldn’t recommend this room choice as it does not really have direct pool access as there is a pathway between the room and the pool that ALL hotel guest use to enter and exit the property. Also the bathroom desperately needs a deep clean and refurbishment. It has a very strange layout where you must go through the shower to access the toilet and the shower floods into the bedroom as soon as it is switched on. Other rooms are much better - my son had a cheaper double on the top floor which was actually much nicer room although it had no balcony.

Beautiful, peaceful stay in Siem Reap Bayon Modern Residence in Siem Reap turned out to be a hidden gem that I'm so glad to have discovered. From the moment I arrived, I was immersed in an enchanting experience. The ambiance of this hotel is simply captivating. The blend of Khmer architecture and contemporary design creates an inviting atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The well-maintained gardens and the serene pool area provided the perfect setting to relax and unwind. My room was a haven of comfort. The attention to detail in the decor was impressive, showcasing the local artistry and culture. The bed was a dream to sleep on after a day of exploring the temples. The thoughtful amenities were a nice touch that enhanced my stay. The standout feature of Bayon Modern Residence, however, was the exceptional service. The staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and attended to my every need. Whether it was arranging transportation or sharing insider tips for exploring Siem Reap, their warm hospitality was truly commendable.
