Local transportation was key to our experience at this multitude of temples. Each day we needed to coordinate more than one driver, or guide, or TukTuk and perhaps unlike most clients we had specific requests regarding early times and custom route/stop arrangements. Again, and again those requests were reliably communicated. Ask for Chhina as a TukTuk driver. He is flexible and will go out of his way. Similarly, Peckaday, was very helpful with day trips and airport transfers. Although more expensive, we found a driver/car for the morning trips to the temples a better choice because of the A/C on the way back to the hotel, in the heat of the day. TukTuks were great for late afternoon returns to the temples and evening trips to shopping venues, or downtown. I recommend you reward these drivers well as they hustle and wait for us while their families wait at home. Local scales seem below what seems reasonable for the effort they make. Yes, get back to a temple late each afternoon for a peaceful reflection with few others. Accolades to all of the wonderful staff. Soriya leads a very warm and responsive team. With the help of Luna, Vammet, Pon, and half a dozen others who's names I shamefully failed to recall. If you are seeking an early trip to the temples, breakfast boxes are available for the asking. Between temples the driver would take us to a spot for us to eat. In the case it was a roadside open eatery we would purchase cokes and tip heavily. They were always very cordial and appreciative. Our housekeeper, Kimhan, always had our room spotless by the time these fatigued adventurers returned in early afternoon. She made a point of lighting a candle for our return. Nice! The elegant restaurant is adjacent to the pool and similarly well-staffed by the always friendly David and Mr. Phat...among others. The breakfasts are generous with a wide variety of western and Asian offerings. A couple times a week the Restaurant/Pool area hosts a Cultural show with dinner at a reasonable price...pretty convenient. Yes, this was a good experience. Thanks!

I regularly visit Cambodia, and Siem Reap is my favorite destination through the years. My past experience during my visit in 2023 was a hit and miss as some hotels were not fully staffed so their services were lacking. So my plan for Siem Reap this time was for 10 nights, but I only booked first 3 nights and was going to look for other hotels in case the service would not meet my expectation. In the past my experience staying near the proximity of the Night Market is that it tends to be on the noisy side but offers an easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants, bars, etc. I booked a room for me and my wife, I contacted the hotel directly to request that our room be not on the first floor about 2 weeks before arrival date. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very polite staff in the lobby with aromatic cold towels and drink, in typical reception tradition. All the staffs are neatly dressed in simple Khmer attires and speak good English. Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the pool, and it appears that all rooms face the pool. Before this I was worried that it could be noisy since the hotel is about 50m from the "X bar", but the noise is well dampen once inside the room. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and adequate size for 2. Air condition, TV, electrical outlets and WiFi signal worked perfectly albeit at 4G speed. Being able to have good WiFi is important for me since my son is house sitting at home. Since it high season, we were asked to pre-order our breakfast the night before so that the cooks can have it ready in the morning. They have the typical breakfast choices on the menu, but coffee is the best for coffee lovers like me and my wife. The staffs always greet everyone with a big smile and ask if you need assistance in getting a tuk tuk, guide, or temple pass among others. My wife like the experience there so much that we booked 3 more nights. I must say that the staffs compliment the well maintained, and we would stay there again in the future.

The journey to the ancient world begins with this hotel. Already upon entering, you feel immersed in history and the hidden mysteries of antebellum. The hotel's decoration style takes the Indiana Jones world. And the staff is astonished by their attentiveness and love for the guests. The hotel completely closes all needs - at the reception you can book a special tuk-tuk with a carriage and a reliable driver for the whole day for individual temple exploration. There are ready plans to visit temples and interesting places for 3-5 days, or you can agree on your individual plan to go around the temples. The driver will have both water and cold wet towels, which give an untransmittable high during exploration and adventure in Angkor. The hotel offers a special dinner with Apsar dancing - it's not cheap, but the experience is much more valuable! The hotel has a good location - the most touristic center, and everything you want is within walking distance. After exploring the temples in Angkor, it is nice to relax all day by the pool, which is also decorated very beautifully and with elements of the ancient world. The pool water is clean and cool. Clean showers and toilets near the pool are also present. The staff cares and cares about the pool, so the beauty is in the details. Breakfasts are good, delicious. The only thing is I wish there were more healthy meal options on the menu. Around 5 or 6 a.m., there is a colorful and varied birdsong outside the window. The bed is clean and chic, the towels are soft and change every day, even if they left the room later in the evening. Bed linen is changed with a slight hint any day if necessary. The hotel's jewel is its staff. At the moment, these are the most caring and loving hotel staff. A special thank you goes to an employee named Nana for her impeccable service and support in all matters. I really enjoyed being a guest at this hotel. Taking with me the most fond memories of fantastic adventures in the ancient world, colorfully decorated by a hotel. Thank you!

We stayed in the Khmer Mansion Boutique Hotel for three nights in December/January. We are a family of six - and we stayed in three rooms. I cannot stress enough how phenomenal this place is. We had a great room with amenities, but what really made the difference was the attention to detail and kindness of the team. We were picked up from the airport and immediately made comfortable with ice cold jasmine scented towels and cold water. Nothing could have been more refreshing. Our names were spelled out on our beds in lotus stems and we had fresh flowers in our room. The manager was able to book us a brilliant tour of Angkor Wat and the surrounding area as well as look after a few questions etc.
The hotel is very well located, I was worried about the noise from pub street as I had read a few reviews commenting on the noise, we were really not impacted at all by this.
Would highly recommend this hotel, it was a favourite for our three week trip.

The staff and service here is truly amazing. The best I have ever experienced in a hotel anywhere. It is truly ‘expect the unexpected’. You are welcomed in your room with flower petals on your bed and your name written in little sticks. All the customer facing staff know your name, you ae met each time you return from the hotel with a cold face towel and water. You sit down by the pool and a tray of tea and snacks miraculously appears. The staff interact with you, are eager to hear the stories of your day, and share their own experiences. The Senior Customer Care Manager, Hov Pheara, was most attentive and helpful The location is great, just a short walk to the attractions of Pub Street. No Tuk-Tuk needed here. The atmosphere is resort-like. The dining area is open, but there are tables by the pool that we used except when it rained. Such a great place to enjoy a meal. We had a poolside room that was so convenient, the room was great and the shower in particular was fantastic with plenty of room for two. Overall, the best boutique hotel I have ever stayed in.

The hotel is small, clean and in a perfect location, close to angor wot, pub street, night market and river. Lots of wonderful eateries located behind the hotel away from main tourist areas. The rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are very comfortable and generously sized. Whilst you can hear some noise/ music from surrounding area ( I stayed in room 105, facing the pool), this was very faint and I couldn't here when I had the AC on in the room. The noise did not disturb me at all. The breakfast and food at the hotel is of high standard, large portions and priced well as are the drinks. The breakfast takeaway box was amazing, we were provided with a breakfast box when visiting Angor Wot at sunrise - a generous box of delights you have a choice of bakery or sandwich box we opted it the bakery box, again this was very generous helping and delicious. The highlight of our stay was the staff who work very hard, we found the service to be impeccable and of a very high standard. On arrival we were greeted with big smiles and addressed by our names, we were given a welcome pack, which included local phrases and guide to local foods. Ech time we returned to the hotel we were greeted by our names (each staff member knew our names) and were provided with cold water and cold towels. We were made to feel like the only guests in the hotel. The customer service provided feels very personalised and you are made to feel like a VIP guest. A big and special thank you to Pheara and her team Pov, Don, Sera and Liam who made our stay a wonderful experience. We arrived as guests and left having made a family Pheara, Pov and Don thank you/ Or Kun for making our stay so special and for the birthday twin cakes ! I would highly recommend this hotel.

The service was wonderful and I'm glad I stayed there. I'd like to stay here again if I come to Cambodia. I especially liked the smile of staff member Phaera. When I returned to the hotel, they gave me a cold towel, prepared water for me, and even exterminated mosquitoes in my room when there were any. It was a very caring hotel. The breakfast had a wide selection, and in addition to Khmer cuisine they also had an American breakfast, which was nice.

Excellent location, right next to Pub Street, but even better are the Cambodian restaurants surrounding the hotel. The room was clean and bed soft, small balcony overlooking the pool and can hear some noise from Pub Street during the night but this wasn't too bad and the hotel offers earplugs if you like. The staff are exceptionally friendly and are happy to help arrange anything you need. We arranged a tuktuk through the hotel to see the Angkor complex, and they did this for a reasonable price, with water and cold refresher towels included. We recommend this hotel and enjoyed our stay here.

This was our first trip to Cambodia and the stay at Khmer Mansion Boutique hotel was exceptional. The hospitality is top notch, the rooms were very clean and the morning breakfast is a plus. They are very accommodating and always check with us about breakfast incase we can’t make it so they can have it packed and ready for us incase we have an early itinerary planned. I chose this hotel due to its location only a block away from the nightlife. We had no trouble with any noise at night even though we are only a block from Pub Street. All the staff has been amazing but I would like to thank Piseth who made our group feel very welcoming and took care of our needs. My favorite part of staying here is the attention to their guests with the friendly greetings, Jasmine hand towels and refreshing cold drinks. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Siem Reap.

Central location 2 minutes walk from Pub Street. The staff welcomes you every time with a smile, a refreshing towel and something to drink and are always ready to satisfy your every request. The environment is clean, the rooms spacious, several choices for breakfast. There is a swimming pool and also a small spa. I relied on them to book the excursion to Angkor and also in this case the driver had cold water and refrigerated towels in the Tuctuc which he provided to us at each stop. Attention to the customer is maximum on every occasion from the reception staff to the bar staff to those who arrange the rooms. I recommend it and would choose it again.

I always use Expedia. No problems. Yes it is only a very short walk to Pub St but can be very noisy late into the night. Staff are extremely attentive and lovely.
They have bottled water to clean your teeth , their drinking water is filtered which they will give you. We drank their water every time we come in off the street.
There are more places to choose from in the Svay Dangkum area.
