We didn’t stay at the Golden Rock, but enjoyed several meals at Breezes, as well as an afternoon by the pool. It is a stunningly beautiful property with fabulous facilities. The staff could not have been more thoughtful and solicitous, and the food is superb. We highly recommend this property. There is nothing approaching the Golden Rock on the island, and it comparable to the best hotels in the Caribbean. The only down side is the absence of a beach.

The island of Statia was really a surprise - it is still an undiscovered spot in the Caribbean. It has the most protected historic monuments per square kilometer of the Caribbean, is full of charm and authenticity. The Quill volcano offered us some amazing hiking and there are over 30 dive spots near by. The Golden Rock Resort is the first luxury lifestyle resort on the Dutch island and all accommodations have ocean views! Breeze, the hotel's restaurant, served delicious food and drinks. I would definitely stay at this beautiful and friendly hotel again.

From the moment my bestfriend and I set foot in the building we felt warmth met a few many individuals who gave the recommendations and ofcourse we went with... Firstly i would like to share my gratitude and thank all the people who we have had the chance to meet Kofi, Maleek, Carlington, and ofcourse Julia these were the people that stood out and I just want to say thank you for your effect and efficient service you are all Rockstars of that establishment. Nothing robotic was displayed and the grounds are clean. Not only the front staff but a grand appreciation to the back of the house hospitality as well. Food - scrumptious, seasoned well with great presentation. Recommended by Maleek the steak and omlet was topnotch; mouth watering, appealing,heavenly you name it! No complain at all the pools are gorgeous and kept calling my name! Lismeily's customer service is above and beyond. Not one mixed drink was short of perfection. The food at Breeze, from the breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner, are all tasty, and spot on. A big, big thank you (again) to chef Uson. I highly recommend staying at Golden Rock, and eating to your hearts content at Breeze.

Stunning stay for diving nearby. Our room was fabulous, the bath divine and the view across the pool out to sea was magnificent. Breakfasts were great being a la carte and dinners varied. We made sandwiches for lunch in our room after dives at the GOLDEN ROCK DIVE CENTRE where Sarah, David and team were superb dive masters and did everything for you! Whatsap them on +5993191819

It was my first time visiting Statia and I would definitely recommend to visit this Caribbean pearl as I was just blown away by the beauty of this resort. The way this is built with so much respect for the island, the nature and its people, really touched me. The island is like you go 20 years back in time, it has this timeless elegance. Golden Rock Resort felt like a green oasis, the amazing quill on the background, gardens full of flowers, palmtrees and hummingbirds. I would strongly recommend this resort to people who really want to unwind, relax and who respect and love the beauty of nature. I really felt re-energized after my visit.

Came for the Wellness retreat Nov 4-7 run by Fi De Wit and the combination of yoga + pilates + hiking + meditation was perfection. Amazing views of the ocean and grounds on one side, and the Quill on the other. Accommodation was in a Deluxe Room, which was quite large for a typical resort style room. Only disappointment was that the weather was lousy for the duration of my stay (snorkelling cancelled due to weather). Absolute must visit for nature, food and wellness lovers. Added touches that further make this 10/10: - Robe & slippers made me feel cozy all weekend long - Toothbrush, toothpaste, sanitary bags convenient to have - Separate bathtub & shower - Full-sized beach towels available - Assortment of teas & honey on request satisfies my tea fix - Delicious meals & generous portions (better than St. Barth’s & St. Martin!) - TV with some channels but didn't even need it - Large balcony with lounge chairs & pillows to chill, eat, rest, work (never wanted to leave my room) - Only turned on the AC at night; ceiling fan kept the room ventilated & cool - View on second floor overlooks ocean & resort grounds (TIP: request to be away from pool if you don’t want noise) - Airport shuttle provided - Customer service & attention were second to none! …

l absolutely love Golden Rock Resort. The reception staff are beautiful, professional and welcome you with a genuine smile. The welcome drink and cold towel was awesome! The room is very clean and comfortable. The grounds are gorgeous also. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous also and the food was delicious but a bit expensive.

Statia has few places with pools and Golden rock offers a good day pass with towel and welcome drink, pool access and pool lounger use included! They also offer a shuttle service to get there! Spent a lovely day at their pool and ordered a delicious lunch from Breeze! The grounds are wonderfully landscaped and even though there was construction ongoing you can't even tell. Looking forward to returning to see their cliffside facilities when it's completed.

A pleasant and unique visit to Statia, an undiscovered island with lots of history, a real authentic island that preserve the local culture and hence traditions. Unique dive spots with great visibility (even during hurricane season), great variety of marine life and the night dive is mandatory!! The hotel is everything, the location is incomparable, great views and of course the magnificent Quill Volcano compose the scene. Amazing bedrooms with large bathrooms, comfortable beds and great in-suite amenities. The restaurant is to die for, great options for all kind of meals, the chef is very creative and brings a lot to the table. The staff is always with a lovely smile, trying to help and to be around for any requests. The hotel facilities are impeccable, amazing gym, delicious pool, very nice kids play, mini-golf and the tennis court!
