Quite new resort, with one « luxury » bungalow available (which is very rare in this area), nice common space, a ping-pong table, young and helpful team, good chess players. Recommend this place. Don’t bet a beer with Tri at ping-pong, chances are that you will lose 😆

We stayed for nine nights at this amazing place. Our cabin was basic but nicely furnished and clean. We enjoyed many beautiful days at the beach and jumping off the lovely pier. The snorkelling is amazing around the island you can see many colourful fish and coral. The food was good even though there could have been a little more variety. The staff is very helpful and friendly, always ready for a round of table tennis :) Tip: Make sure that you have a proper reservation (pay a deposit if possible) as the communication is difficult due to the lack of internet. We can strongly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

We stayed 3 nights at bolilanga resort. Rooms are nice and clean. The food was ok. There is a small beach and very good snokeling around the island. All in all it is a nice place for a couple of days. The only think we did not like at all was that the owner Allan is not a very honest man. We asked him several times if any public boat would goe from Katupat to Wakai the next day. He always sayed NO and therefore we had to charter a boat. While we were on our way to Wakai, 2! public boats did pass us. We realised that he did lie to us and this is a no go for us to recommand this place.

We stayed there for 2 nights, if we have more time we would definitely add more days to stay there! The resort is the only buildings on the island. Its a private island with a nice beach and white sand. The food is great! They cook great meal! Hats of for the chef! The staffs at the villa are also nice and friendly especially Pak David, he seems to be the oldest man working in the island yet he is very helpful and kind, he is also still learning english and makes talking with foreigners as his chance to improve his English, so don't forget to say hi to him. The manager, Alan is also a very nice young man. He always greets us every morning and is very helpful. The resort has two dogs, Erron and Monster, they're both very sweet and gentle. They like to accompany guest during the stay. The resort has a small house at the tip of the harbor where you can watch sunset. Another great review is about the rooms, they're clean and tidy. The deluxe rooms have showers! While the standards doesn't. Beware of the red ants as sometimes they come to your room if they sense a food. At last, the resort itself is so relaxing so we felt that just chilling at the hammock in front of our rooms is just a great idea and not a waste of money. Though the mosquitoes are not as many as the other island but they still are there, so i advice you to bring a mosquito repellant just in case. Will come back again!…

We went here in the low season (September 2017) and there are just 9 of guest making the resort just like our private island. I love all the warm welcomed staffs and also their rooms was clean and spacious. You can watching sunset from your balcony and it was a bliss. Their resort surrounded by white sandy beach and crystal clear water. I love every second I spent in this Resort. The food was delicious, both local or western food. Actually their dining room/restaurant area is perfect for afternoon tea/coffee, sitting in the couch and relaxing your body. We only had 2 days here, and I wish I could have more time. Pretty sure will come back very soon, and thanks to Mr. Alan for being such a very kind manager and friend. Please send my regards to Mr. Uce, Mr. David, Ms. Sri, and your lovely dog Monster and Emon :) …

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Tranquil setting. Lovely bungalows. Tasty food. Nice sunsets (and snorkeling) from the jetty. Keep up the good work, Alan and family! Terima kasih banyak.

If I could I would rate it 3.5 stars... It's a lovely place but the views are not the best with katupat right in front of you. It looked like the place could be better but some how on my visit I didn't have an amazing experience. Probably, first of all because I was traveling solo with my 3 year old and there was no one else in there (we were the only guests) so it became a bit boring, no one to talk to, siting on our own having our food... the island is very small and no walks we could do... so it all became a bit boring, weird and almost spooky.. but that I guess was only unlucky and our experience.. The people there were really nice and we use to seat with them in the evenings watching the soap.. The food was good and the room too. The only thing was the moskitos..

My family wanted to stay at a 'beachy' resort and this place was a good choice. What we really like about this resort is the location, it took 1 hour boat ride to reach this island from Wakai, but once you're here, you could get to other places easily. Nearby spots are Malenge Island, California reef and Pangempa Island. You could also bought some fried banana from the nearby island Katupat. Their beach is not the best beach in the islands, because they build a dam, we stayed at the Honeymoon suite and Superior suite and we loved it, it was clean, we got hammock and the view was superb. In bolilanga you could enjoy the best sunset and sunrise. For foods, well they didnt offer the best and various foods, most of the days the breakfast would just be fried rice or indomie, fishes and some vegetable for lunch and dinner, the foods were not so special but okay, you could buy your own ingredients such as crabs or lobster from villagers and ask them to cook for you. What we also loved from this resort were the owner and friendly staffs whom always asked us to join their cards game and chess.. and their clingy dogs, Monster and Aaron.. Oh and they also have this cool lionfish on the reef under the jetty, we love the snorkel spots near the jetty, you could see some nemos and if you swim just a little bit farther their reefs are amazing.. Well this may not be the best Island resort but we definitely love our stay at this place..…

On our trip on Tongeans we spent here 2 days. We had bungalow for 300 000 Rp/p.p. The bungalow was pretty good. One mistake is , that in the bathroom there is no basin. There is nice view for sun set from balkony. The coffee nad and tea is free of charge for all day. The home reef is very nice and you can also snorcheling around all island, it take one hour. There is no strong current there. The piere is very good for sun-bas (no sand flea). You can also jump into deep water from it. Milan

Sometimes no connection means deep interaction between you, your travel-mate, and nature calling. Quite small island and not much to do here (since there were not any connection), but white sandy beach, blue ocean, and warm sunshine awaits. I stayed there for open trip (3 nights) in December 2016. We got 3 times meals/day and it was amazing in a great portion. Electricity only between 6pm-12am. One thing that should be improved is, my bathroom door (standard cottage) cant be locked so I need to blocked the door with my booties or anything else. Despite that, bolilanga resort was a perfect place to stay in Togian Islands.
