So after a 15 to 16 hour drive we get to the motel they have no room prepared they were also in process of remodeling had I known that I would have never reservd from them okay so not to mention the dirtiness it was disgusting the lobby was filthy the lady behind the desk that they have working the desk needs to find another job if you don't like your job by all means find something else the lady was so rude and her attitude was so ghetto I ended up having to cancel my reservations with them due to the fact it was not only disgusting and filthy but they had no room for me I wound up going next door to the Hampton inn the young lady there was very polite it was clean and she solved My problem ASAP quality inn needs to invest in some new employees
The check-in should have alerted me. First off they are going through a renovation so had I known that I would have stayed next door at the Hampton Inn. I stood at the front desk while 3 employees held a conversation which must have been important because they totally ignored me for about 5 minutes. I parked in the back so when I retrieved my bags to my surprize the key card that was suppose to unlock the door was not needed the door was open to ANYONE to walk through. the bed was hard, internet is spotty at best.On a bright note channel selections were plentiful. I will probably not stay here again.
To be fair, they are going through renovations. However, they should just shut down until they have completed those renovations. I stayed in a pet room, which I was aware of, but was not prepared for the horrible smell. I thought I could deal with it, but even after buying air freshener, it was terrible. Pet fur throughout the room. Left after one night. The entire hotel was filthy.
Eight months ago the of us were in Gloucester for Thanksgiving at a relative’s home. We only needed a place to sleep and freshen up the next morning. The Quality Inn met our needs. The staff was pleasant and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast bar was standard for this chain, which was more than okay. However, things were much less than okay on this visit. Our room’s door was open when we got to it. It turns out one has to intentionally shut room 210’s door because it gets hung up on the carpet. The refrigerator was unplugged and its door was open. A wet, stained washcloth was on the lowest shelf, probably to sop up the water as it defrosted—whenever that was. The faucet in the sink could not be shut off entirely, and the hair dryer was inoperable. The hallway carpets were covered in stains. It appears no one is taking any pride in the appearance of the hotel. Although we have always stayed at this Quality Inn whenever we were in the area, the next time we are in town I think we will pay a little more for a better experience at the hotel next door. …
Whoever took the photos for this hotel’s profile is an excellent photographer and deserves an award. In person, the room looks more like a random room with beds and old furniture. This place is awful. It is filthy, the halls smell, and is dated! I am appalled and shocked that they would even rent rooms in this condition. The furniture surfaces were grimy and dusty, and the “white” bath linens were a tinge of black and brown. They looked more like old washcloths that you now uses for cleaning and dusting. The HVAC unit was full of trash, debris, and hair. The bathtub was peeling, had soft spots, AND WAS TAPED! THE DEADBOLT FOR THE DOOR DOD NOT WORK! I was in town for a funeral and if it wasn’t for all of the back and forth, tight timelines, and late nights involved with that, I would I have found another room and demanded a refund! I would not recommend that anyone stay here until they at minimum clean the rooms or renovate.…
