Where do we start? Everything about this holiday was just perfect for us.
Let's start with getting to the island....We landed at Labasa airport during a torrential downpour but thankfully the airport staff had plenty of umbrellas and they were very good at getting all...More
This was our first time in Fiji, and we were hoping to stay at a place with good food, beautiful beach, and somewhat serene so that we can destress after a long process of wedding planning. This place proved to be that and so much...More
We went to Nukubati for our belayed Honeymoon. Found a Groupon deal but made contact with the hotel and they offered directly the same deal. Communication before the trip was excellent, at arrival we got picked up as communicated and when we arrived on the...More

This review is long over due. I have been to Nukubati twice with my (now ex-) husband in the 1990's. Both visits were spectacular and beyond anything I could have hoped for. As a trained scuba instructor, a trained cultural anthropologist, and an active marine...More

We stayed at Nukubati for our wedding and honeymoon in 2009. The waters edge is shallow and you just walk in. It is not deep, I was a non swimmer before arriving at Nukubati but conquered my fears there and ended up enjoying some snorkelling which I thoroughly enjoyed and never felt out of my depth. You can eat your meals where and when you want, so there are no set times at all. I would add that meeting other guests at night from all over the world in the pavilion was a great experience and the perfect way to start your evening. There are various activities such as diving, Sandbar picnic (which is an absolute must in my opinion). Sailing, Medicine walks with a member of staff (fascinating). You just have to tell the staff what you want do do and they will make it happen.Hope this helps. :)
