Really great beach hotel. Many good restaurants. Great breakfast buffet. One downside is the shower that has water that goes hot time to time even when you adjust the Temperature. I would recommend this hotel for anyone that is looking for a great vacation. The hotel is approximately 40 min walk from the marina and downtown, but you can walk on a path next to the beach and sea so great to do.

An IHG hotel with all the standards that a customer can expect from the international chain. I am a regular visitor due to business reasons and I keep returning again and again as l always leave with the best impressions. The staff is very polite and helpful, the rooms are always very clean and upgrades are made when possible. The location is very central and provides very easy access to the business and leisure life of Limassol. There is also a very good loyalty scheme through IHG app. I definitely recommend it for both business and pleasure.Well done to all the personnel. Keep up the good work!

I have stayed in this hotel several times. It's just wonderful, the balcony window offers great views of the sea and the rooms are spacious and tidy. The hotel has a spa, swimming pool, great place to relax. I want to thank the duty manager of the hotel, Michalis Prodromou, I simply did not expect such a professional welcome and service. All the staff at the hotel are simply charming and do a wonderful job. Great food in the restaurant, amazing views, and the best staff. I will definitely come back.

The hotel has a nice location. It’s slightly outdated though. The bathroom “white” elements yellowed over time so it looks old and dirty. The hairdryer is fastened in the drawer so usability is zero. Additionally the quality of the hair dryer is another weak point. The rooms are very loud. The street noise is not a problem. But the parties full during the week at the hotels restaurant are disturbing. The hotel was half empty during our stay so not putting us towards the other side of the hotel was just cruel. The dissatisfaction could have been avoided. So prepare for the sleepless nights. Breakfast has a wide selection of the fresh fruit and vegetables, cheese, pastries. There is an omelet section however they still serve microwaved powder scrambled eggs. Positive thing is then the standard European socket in the room (1 pc). The staff is very nice and is the only thing that made my stay slightly more positive. This applies to everyone, from reception through breakfast crew to cleaners. Overall - not worth the money they request. There is a nice sea access directly in front of the hotel as well a pool and cat “sanctuary”. The sanctuary is then the dirty trash corner……

We stayed for two weeks and overall had a really good time. Room was very nice with a pleasant sea view. Very comfortable bed, and all the amenities you would expect, including a fridge.. House keeping also very good and bottled water replenished every day. Plus points - extremely friendly staff - nice bar area with tasty food - great indoor pool with sauna and steam room - good location with bus stop outside hotel (10 mins into Marina and Limassol OldTown). - two excellent places to eat within walking distance, Thalassokoritiso Cafe The Ship pub.

We booking the weekend package to also include the NYE gala dinner. Overall we would say that the hotel is fine but nothing special. The building itself is very dated, the rooms are at best average too. They were clean, but the decor and bathrooms dated. One thing that was very disappointing was that we encountered small cockroaches on both nights in the bathroom. The dinner served on both New Years eve and New Years day evening was pretty much the same. I found the meat dishes to be a little tough, the meats were not tender. Also the variety of meals was limited. I wouldn't choose this hotel again in the future.

Excellent hotel. Situated right on the coast, the location is lovely. The hotel has been refurbed to a high standard. It is stylish, calm and relaxing with a lovely feel to all areas. The rooms with balconies overlooking the sea are lovely and nicely done in the same calm decor as the other areas. A lot of thought has gone into the little details of the ambience of the hotel - very well done on that. The staff are what really put this hotel apart from others. Every member was extremely courteous, professional and efficient whilst still being personable and friendly - really lovely, every one of them. We are IHG Diamond Elite members, so have stayed in many many hotels over the years and this has just become our favourite stay, so well done!!

Last week I stayed in this hotel for 8 nights. I only choose this hotel because it is part of IHG Hotel and I am a Diamond Elite member. The check in was smooth and our room was upgraded to a same room category but sea facing. This is just a small upgrade that can be obtained with lower tier of membership. So really not worth it to go there as a Diamond Elite. The room size was average, the toilet was dated but clean and functional. All the staff was friendly except for the evening reception staff. One evening after showering and changing to my bedtime wear, I decided to open a bottle of wine. I could not find a bottle opener in the room, so I called the reception. It was picked up by a guy called Paul. He sounded grumpy and said that I had to come down to collect it. I begged him to bring it up to my room but he refused. So I got changed and went down. When I saw him, with his grumpy non-smiling face, he checked the drawer in reception and with a loud bang he closed it again. He then turned to me and said in an unfriendly way that there was no bottle opener and I had to go up and get the bottle down to the bar to let the staff there open it for me. By that moment, I lost my cool and shouted at him that the hotel service was very bad. There was actually a bell boy who was standing at the reception that he could have asked to deliver the bottle opener but he didn't. I did not receive any apologies. The night manager on duty was also there and he also did not apologise or intervene in anyway. I then had to walk all the way back to my room and bring the bottle down to the bar to get it opened. I think the grumpy staff Paul and the manager in the night reception need to be trained further or sacked. They might even be racist. That incidence really ruined the rest of my stay at the hotel. Overall the hotel looked dated. Breakfast options never changed in the 8 days I was there and offers limited options. Would I come back to stay in this hotel again? Definitely no.…

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Limassol for one night. The hotel seems to be a cross between a business hotel and a leisure resort. I arrived a little early and my room wasn’t ready. I sat at the outdoor restaurant/cafe and despite a number of staff coming and going, no one came to offer any service which was a disappointing start. The room was clean with a nice sea view. The main part of the room felt fresh and modern, while the bathroom still felt like something from the early 1990s in terms of style. The hotel has a nice pool but it gets extremely busy and difficult to get a lounger. Breakfast the next morning was a buffet of cold and hot foods which covered all the basics of an international breakfast. All in all, a good stay but could improve a little on attentiveness and service in the restaurants.…

This was our 14th stay and this hotel just keeps getting better. The staff were, as always, the key to a great time and they provide an outstanding service. It was great to see how all the staff worked together as a team and the younger staff are being trained to ensure the standards are maintained - they are a credit to IHG. I cannot fault the hotel. It may be forty years old but there are subtle improvements and we especially liked the new terrace and lighting which makes outdoor dining and drinks so enjoyable. The rooms are excellent and we loved our sea-facing room which allowed sunrise and sunset views. Despite a busy road the rooms facing the sea are very quiet and peaceful. We love the breakfasts and the interesting Cypriot foods within the buffet which allow us the chance to sample things we might otherwise miss. It was great to meet Maria and Pedros again too! Our stay in sunny Cyprus at the Crowne Plaza will set us up for a cold northern European winter and we look forward to returning to Cyprus again next year.
