Abode de Fleur is located in a gorgeous peaceful spot out of the city, surrounded by Native forest. Janice and John were the most giving and warm welcoming hosts who immediately made us feel at home and welcome. Abode de Fleur is a lovely B&B set out of Auckland amongst beautiful bush and close to beaches such as Piha and Bethals. Set in quiet bush, off the beaten track, Abode de Fleur is owned and managed by a delightful couple, Jan & John Reece who really put customer service at the top of the list. Character filled B&B decorated with antique furniture including large ensuite bathroom complete with huge roll-top cast iron bath (and shower). Views of native bush from bathroom and bedroom. We were delighted by the package that John and Reece offered at a reasonable price. Great accomodatiom,very friendly, we felt spoilt in this character filled accommodation set in pristine New Zealand bush.
