If you want to experience rural Bali this is the place. Situated on the edge of a small village, you can experience local life and culture at Shangrilah. It is peaceful and serene with beautiful views, cool air, forest, mountains and rice paddies. You can watch the locals going about their daily work and get away from the rush and busyness of the tourist and city life. There are local shops outside the gate for simple supplies, but suggest you bring some supplies or drinks as this is a self catering facility. A variety of restaurants nearby requiring transport. It’s ideal to have transport so you can travel at your leisure to the many tourist sites around this area. Waterfalls, rice fields, lakes, botanical gardens, Treetops adventure park or hot springs are all within easy reach from the villas. Villas are clean and comfortable with a renovated pool and pool lounge area for relaxing or for doing yoga or meditation. We loved our stay at Shangrilah and will return for sure.…
