From start to finish, our stay here was absolutely magical! Every single staff member was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our dinner at Sea Salt was particularly memorable, as was our relaxing time at the spa. Overall the facilities, views and location were outstanding. The hotel’s minimalist design was perfectly complemented by the infinity pools, which blended seamlessly into panoramic ocean views. Combined with the fantastic poolside food and drinks options, it was hard to leave. And yet, the hotel was steps away from Potato Head, Mrs Sippy, and a quick walk/ride to tons of other fantastic bars/restaurants in one of the most exciting parts of Bali. Alila Seminyak offered the best of everything and we can’t wait to return for another visit soon!
Fabulous stay at Alila, Seminyak for 10 nights - was it too long? not at all- exceptional service with great food. We stayed in an Ocean View Suite looking over one of the 3 pools offering options for families and couples, all serviced by attentive staff. It only has the one restaurant but there are so many options to eat in Seminyak that we did not find this an issue - with the pool and seaside offering great bar food and drink options. The breakfast options were impressive offering plenty of Indonesian choices as well as the standard options. Plenty of beach and street side massages availabile but the Alila Spa experience was well worth the extra spend - would highly recommend
Had a wonderful stay , staff couldn’t be more helpful and rooms were clean and spacious with a first class view of the ocean . My daughter returned to the hotel after a night out at another venue and was not well . After contacting reception that staff had arranged for a car fir my daughter and myself to be taken straight to a doctor where she was seen immediately and we later returned after her condition improved after her treatment . She was fine the next morning and for the remainder of the trip . They also followed up the next morning to see how she was . They definitely demonstrate their care to customers. Recommend highly.
Disappointed by the view from my Alila Ocean View Suite (blocked by 2 coconut trees) but pleased with the anticipated needs of my toddler (baby bathtub, shower accessories, changing mats, bath robe and slippers, even diapers). Had some maintenance issues with the room (dislodged curtain rail, not fully insulated lamp cable) but these were promptly rectified upon informing. Overall, was saved by the service but I may not return.
we were stay at ocean view room with balcony. we felt very satisfied during our stay, the staff very helpful, they provide baby amenities and stuffs. we recommended this hotel for your family staycation
The ocean view suite is spectacular, exceeding my expectations, best view room ever. The staffs were polite and attentive. The Seasalt Restaurants and the Bar is marvelous. Will definitely come back to this property. Enjoying every bits of my stay in Alila Seminyak.
We were extremely happy with the location. It was easy to walk to the main Seminyak strip. Our friends stayed on the ground floor with easy access to the pool. This was a great location. We stayed in a different wing 1 floor up facing the hotel next door. It was a little noisier but none thing to complain about. We were hoping for some late night room service (food) after our flights and check in but I understand in these times that is not easy to offer. Had a I known I would have picked up something on the way to the hotel. Our favourite Spring Rolls (mid afternoon snack) always ran out by 3pm. We ate once at the hotel but we found heading out to find new breakfast bars was a great way to start the day. Many of them were in walking distance and sometimes you would have to wait for a table but it was always worth it. The hotel was a little pricier for food but the coffee was A-mazing. I would definitely stay here again.…
A large group of family and friends recently stayed at Alila ahead of upcoming nuptials. We originally booked the studios but had been upgraded to the main hotel in a beauty deluxe king room. I cannot fault anything about Alila from the food to the facilities and employees. The hotel has multiple pools including adults only pools. This is the first hotel I’ve been to which enforces a 15 min vacant sunbed rule to ensure people don’t put towels down to reserve and disappear. I think it’s wonderful and all hotels should do that. We dined at Seasalt the restaurant on site on two occasions, there’s 5/6 options each fir veggie, fish, meat etc… and the food was good on both occasions. The staff were fantastic especially the pool and reception staff. Reception can ferry you and/or your bags between buildings or down to the main road. The beauty of staying at Alila is you don’t feel like you’re in the hustle and bustle of central Seminyak or Kuta but you’re such a short walk away (and from Canggu too.) I LOVED walking along the beach to get to places rather than the main streets, even at night I personally felt safer and it’s so nice after doing cities and jungle resorts to be by the beach and take it in (side note: you’re not actually allowed to swim in most stretches of the beach along there and red flags are always out as it’s VERY harsh waters.) If we visited Seminyak again we would definitely stay at Alila, it was a great recommendation by our friends.…
Our stay at Alila was wonderful. Staff were amazing and very helpful. We had such a lovely time away with the family and there were many celebrations to make our trip even more special. Highly recommend Alila!!
We stayed in the Alila for 5 nights as the first part of our honeymoon before moving on to Gili and then Ubud. This hotel is incredible. The views are amazing and it’s exactly what we were looking for. The food is fantastic - everything from breakfast to the beach club lunch to dinner at Seasalt. Yes, it’s more expensive than most hotels in the area but it’s completely worth it. Location is spot on - a short walk to central Seminyak with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. We considered Potato Head and the W hotel but the vibe at Alila is so relaxing and a bit more chilled in comparison the the party vibe we saw elsewhere. We upgraded to a sea view room which was definitely worth it. It’s right on the south side of the hotel, which is next to no other buildings. We can imagine the north side next to Potato head can be a bit noisy given their music can be heard throughout the evening even in the lobby of the hotel. As you’re not able to drink water from the taps, the hotel do a great job of providing glass bottled mineral water throughout the day. The staff make this experience. They could not have done enough for us - so kind and friendly especially Yudi on the front desk. Thank you, Alila - we will be back!…
