Dhigali Maldives is so many things. For solo travelers you can find that haven to get away. As you do everything is there for you to feel renewed, ready to face the world again. So much to feast the senses: luxuriant fragrant greenery, birds and bats for a real immersion in nature, scents of incense at Battuta as you feast on Maldivian, Indian, Lebanese or other cuisine, staff frequently offering lemongrass scented towels for you to refresh. All this only my first day. At Battuta, do try the pistachio baklava with rose ice cream for a unique experience.

Hotel's Favourite
We had an absolutely fabulous and chilled out break at Dhigali. Highlights were two trips with Haleem and Captain John and his crew. The first was a Dolphin cruise and the second the most romantic sunset cruise. We could not recommend this place highly enough - every member of staff are so friendly and welcoming. Five stars from us and we will be returning.

just back from the beautiful Dhigali Island. A brilliant week behind us. Super beautiful island, super good team, who we hardly ever saw and yet were always present with a smile. The accommodations were perfect, the food was excellent. Compliments to the General Manager, someone who loves his island and has regular contact with his customers. We have been to many 5 star resorts over the years but Dhigali exceeded our expectations, from the staff welcoming us from the sea plane to the goodbyes at the end of our trip. This is by far the most luxurious holiday , with friendly, professional and attentive staff... I booked for 10 days at this resort for my partners 60th Birthday all inclusive, it didn't disappoint My request for an intimate dinner on the beach with birthday cake was amazing, thank you so much for keeping my surprise from him, the food and service was outstanding, Thank You!! There are 5 restaurants and 2 bars , the range of food is incredible, the chefs were willing to prepare a dish off the menu (Caesar salad) the front of house staff are friendly professional and attentive, The Lagoon villa with pool is well equipped with an inclusive mini bar, replenished daily, the cleanliness of the room is to a very high standard . It was nice to see the manager Chris introduce himself and mingle with his guests, (something you don't see to often) Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday so beautiful, there are to many to mention, however a few clearly stood out, to check all was ok and delivery of great service.. Reception staff Shaana.. who assisted us with a potential booking for 2024, showing us other villas and availability. A lovely lady all round. Jailam (Jelly.)..... Buggy driver, always smiling and continually asking how our holiday was going, helpful and courteous. Halali bar ....Prahbu so friendly he was full of funny story's and information. I stayed in this hotel for 3 days. It's a delightful place, great restaurants, polite friendly staff. Clean beaches, clear water, many bonuses and gifts from the hotel. Individual approach to each guest. From the moment your plane lands in the city of Male, you are constantly surrounded by the care and attention of the hotel staff. I would like to come back and spend more days in this hotel.

My wife and I came here for our honeymoon (April 2023) and we were blown away by our stay here. The staff is world class and was so accommodating and friendly. My wife is vegan and the chefs made sure to make something special for her. Our front office host, Nette, made sure to walk us through all of the different activities and amenities at the resort and was so tremendously helpful. We did daily visit to their Spa and was pampered all over with amazing massages, body rubs and facials. The cafe was a great hang out spot to enjoy coffee and hide from the sun. Paola, Glenda and Martin are super friendly baristas that can entertain you while you enjoy the coffee. There are a few options for food/restaurants. Jade was by far my favorite which specializes in Asian flavors. Faru, focuses on with great grilled items, shout out to Grace for always being so friendly and welcoming. Lastly, Battuta for some Indian inspired flavors. Definitely would come back again here. …

The most amazing holiday. I would highly recommend this island. The staff are the highlight as are so kind and helpful. Can’t fault any of them. Accommodation - really lovely rooms, we were in a beach villa (317) which was on the same side as the sea planes land. Lovely room, spacious and with your own sun beds outside. The bed unfortunately was not comfortable, would recommend new mattresses as are well warn and very hard/uncomfortable. But otherwise rooms lovely and bathroom great. Bars - Hali busier and Sam the bartender is fantastic. Really knows his stuff and so helpful. East bar is quieter but lovely still by the pool, Saugad is an amazing bar tender too. Great chats with him and his team. Restaurants - favourite was Battuta, amazing setting and great menu (curry menus mainly). The hot pot at Jade was incredible highly recommend this. Faru also very good and the buffet at the main restaurant was always excellent quality. Breakfast they had something for everyone. I challenge anyone to say they don’t like something in there. Staff - what can I say, some of the most helpful people I’ve ever met. Island itself is lovely, they have a cart to pick you up if you wanted. We walked everywhere as it’s not too far. Euro Divers - fantastic crew here, we did our Scuba padi and had an amazing time. Marc was so helpful and informative. Nice evening drinks with them all too. Highly recommend !! 5*…

Dhigali Maldives claims to be a five star resort but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. We are a family of 4, 2 adults and two girls of 15 and 13 years of age. So, they are compared to full adults when it comes to payment. At arrival, there were only 2 sunbeds in our villa and it took 3 days and several complaints to get the extra two as they said they were fully booked. Also we could not book the available restaurants on the islands because all the slots were full and only managed to have 21.00/21.30 slots which is very late there. Furthermore, their “signature” restaurant Battuta, where we went twice, rushed us to leave (they brought the dessert menu while eating the main dish and the check while having dessert - never proposed another drink or coffee at the end). They were never full but simply can’t manage more than 3 or 4 tables at the same time. The same happens at Jade. Faru is better when it comes to service. Rooms cleaning is generally late (around 17.30) which I have never experienced anywhere else. This is an expensive trip and something that, for most people doesn’t happen very often, so my recommendation is to go somewhere where service and quality are good value for money.…
