I stayed at the resort hotel because the conference was located there. I really loved the place and would stay there again. It is isolated from businesses and traffic by terrain but is not far from Bernalillo.

The two nights at Tamaya were wonderful. The setting of the building is spectacular, but that does not even come close to the helpful and pleasant staff. The doormen were patient and good humored; the checkin staff were efficient and welcoming. The resort is nice but feels dated. The resort is secluded but is close to anything you would want or need. Good scenery and walking trails in a safe area. The restaurants and bar are very expensive but serve good food and drinks. The staff was very helpful and informative.

This is an awesome hotel! This was my first visit and I was very impressed. I would like to plan a personal visit so that I could enjoy all the amenities. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. I did not have time to visit the original Tamaya site and I would love to come back...

The hotel is lovely. Drive past the dramatic statues in the entrance and doormen greet you (with umbrellas, in the event of rain), and you enter a well-appointed, comfortable lobby with a gorgeous view of the Sandia Mountains.
