We had a lovely stay here for three days. Not long enough. The service was really friendly, wasn't pushy at all, and the tour was good. What really stood out to us was the value of the rooms. A really nice, clean, room (it's well worth paying a little more for the terrace rooms) with an unspoilt view of the... More

We recently spent five nights at the River View Jungle Camp. The manager picked us up at a Tourist bus stop about 25 minutes away, saving us from trying to manage a transfer in an unfamiliar setting. He also took us to the stop where we caught a bus to Kathmandu at the end of our stay. We stayed in... More

I arrived really late due to the very bad road between Pokhara and Chitwan. The reception opened was waiting at the entrance just to let us in as the camp closes its gates in the evening. The entire city closes by 9 and there isn't much to see in Chitwan itself. Upon arrival the room I booked was not available... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in Sept 2016. Straight away we were made to feel very welcome and the hotel manager was very helpful in arranging our activities. We did a whole day jungle trek with Mr Dave and Mr BeCool, who were fantastic! We even saw the rhino walking down the high street!

We spent 3 nights in the river view jungle camp. It was amazing! When we just arrived we saw the rhino in the garden. The next day we saw another rhino. They where chasing each other. We booked a day trip with canoeing and jungle walk by the hotel. It is good to check the prices in town first, so... More

The rooms are beautiful, clean and offer a nice view over the river. We enjoyed our stay here. The guides from the hotel made pur jungle tour unforgetable. We even saw a tiger! I would definitely recommend this place!

We had an amazing stay here! The hotel manager was very friendly, funny and helpful! The resort had lovely rooms, near the river where the Elephant would take their bath. The guides knew what they were doing and gave us an amazing jungle experience. The staff was friendly and the athmosphere made us feel at home!!

We stayed here for 3 nights in April. The hotel is lovely, right on the river side, spacious clean rooms and a beautiful garden. I read a previous review about 'pushy' staff; I can see where this has come from as we were told on arrival 'which tours would you like to book?' however, honestly, there is no reason not... More

We have just stayed 2 nights at RVJC at the end of a 3 week trip in Nepal. We had a really good time at River View Jungle Camp. Krishna and Madhav and the staff worked so hard to make us welcome and to make our stay good. The rooms were very nicely appointed - and the beds were very... More

Staying at River View Jungle Camp was an absolute delight. My room overlooking the river was very comfortable with modern fittings. On arrival there was a one horned rhino relaxing in the river, and of course the daily elephant's bathing is also on the doorstep. The best asset for this affordable and welcoming hotel is the staff. From the gardeners,... More
