Working in the IT industry full of pressure, timelines, deadlines etc and living in a city like New Delhi, India which is full of traffic jams, chaos etc, it is difficult for people like us to find tranquility in our life. I visited Chitwan last week and stayed at Hotel Rain Forest. It has been one of the most amazing...

It wasn't a great time to visit Chitwan due to the hot and humid weather but we still had a very good time. The resort was beautiful - the garden and sit out area was awesome - we are a big family of 13 people with age ranging from 1 to 68 and this was our relaxing down area. The...

Location is fabulous. The service was impeccable..rooms were really spacious. They have their own elephants and vehicles for transport. More than anything, the food was amazing. Will highly recommend. Of course the power cuts were there just like rest of Nepal but expectations set when you check in!

It was also very far...

We stayed here as part of a package so I cannot comment on value for money as we did not pay!! The food was 'OK' (bear in mind that the food in Nepal is at best ok). The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent (especially buda), the site was clean tidy and well presented. Maybe the only...

I was only in Chitwan for a couple of nights but thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I especially enjoyed the walking safari and the cultural activities. Everyone here was super friendly and I really felt welcome. The food was great, and it was in a great location where there were plenty of shops to buy souviners or ice cream if I...

This hotel, centrally placed in Sauraha, is beautifully designed with very spacious and clean rooms. The gardens are carefully laid out and is planted extensively. Guiding by Daniel and Buddha Ram was excellent. Food is very good and everyone is very helpful.

I stayed alone in Chitwan after the first night. The Hotel Rainforest staff is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable, and the resort is very well equipped to take care of groups or an individual. They have two elephants. I had a package that included the cultural show, safari on elephant and jeep, river ride and jungle walk with a guide which...
