It is Winter, what better time to visit? We are the only customer at the lodge and it feels like we are staying with family rather than a hotel. The hotel manager is also our guide for jungle walks. I have read many reviews about people coming to Chitwan and not seeing anything, we have been extremely lucky. Giant hornbills,...

Stayed here as part of a tour group. We were allocated Room 101 very spacious triple room and comfortable beds, however, the pillows were a bit too big and hard for our liking. All meals were buffet style and quite enjoyable. Eggs were not cooked to order at breakfast. There was a large comfortable open style sitting area next to...

We had 3 nights business plus pleasure stay in this lodge a year ago. They offered individual cottage rooms which equipped with all essential amenities. Hotel arranged elephant ride and Jungle Safari that was extremely enjoyable. This place is managed by Nepal's one of the reputed group' KGH". The food they served was excellent.

We visited with a small group and the lodge was simple, but good. The rooms were comfortable and food service good. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable; we did a local walk, canoe trip, and jeep safari (their vehicles appear to be brand new too), plus they had an evening program one night for all guests with traditional music and...

We arrived in a small group after a bus breakdown. The staff and owner are so welcoming. There are rooms and huts, with en suite bathrooms and plenty of hot water for showers. There are no restaurants in the vicinity. The staff prepare meals there buffet style and were tasty. We had a cultural evening of the local men, enjoyable...

Part of my trip to Nepal in November this year I had three days at the Maruni Sanctuary Lodge. I arrived late morning after driving from Bandipur. I was welcomed by staff and shown to a very comfortable cabin on stilts. Madhav Gautam, the Manager at the Lodge introduced himself and explained the Resort layout and what was planned for...

I stayed at Maruni for 4 nights and it offered total peace and quiet, which was only 5 mins away from the busy village. The staff went out of there way, taking me on a short walk to the nearby bridge, with the guides in the evening, to watch the Rhino's crossing the road. Having all activities included within the...
