We only spent one night in this very well maintained B&B but would have happily spent longer. Well positioned for exploring the Cotswold and is itself in a most gorgeous spot. Debby and Martin were very friendly hosts, the rooms clean and comfortable and the breakfast cooked by Debby's own hands along with fruit, cereals etc was more than ample....

This is a charming bed and breakfast property that was originally a working forge. The location is ideal as a centre for touring the Cotswolds. We stayed in room #1 which has a king size, four poster bed which was extremely comfortable. However, the bed sheets, towels etc. had been laundered using a fragrant washing powder......not a good idea for...

We are both surprised and disappointed that we failed to live up to your expectations. In Over 13 years you are the first to have any problem with our choice of Laundry detergent, which is one of the UK's best selling. Your problem with the "Whirlpool" bath would have been an easy one to solve, if you had seen fit...

I spent three nights while I was visiting friends and family in the area. Martin was the perfect host while Debby took a short holiday. Their home is clean, the breakfast was great, and all set in a wonderful location.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Forge in Churchill recently which is a lovely yellow stone residence in a sleepy village outside Chipping Norton. I didn't arrive until 9.00pm but Martin kindly guided me to The Forge via the mobile. My room consisted of a four poster bed with en-suite shower room. The bed was comfortable and the...

Hello David We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at The Forge. Martin was looking after the B&B on his own during your visit so I did not have the pleasure of meeting you or any of the other nice guests during that week. If you are in the area again do call in and see...

Wonderfully were able to go to the Cropredy Festival 2016 and decided not to camp - as we had stayed in The Forge at Churchill before we decided to use it again. Not disappointed - our room was lovely (including a jar of peanuts - my husbands favourite), comfortable, clean, everything you would need and windows you could open for...

Accommodating hosts make for an enjoyable stay in this peaceful area of the Cotswolds. Comfortable beds and a good menu selection available for breakfast. As well as reasonable rates what more can be said or do you need? Recommended. (ignore the following text... it's just padding to satisfy the 200 character minimum for the review).
