As many charming danish inns, this one has great charme and a bit dated decor, but it suits the place. The room was clean, and service super. Spacious parking right outside. Very nice breakfast. I will be back.

We hosted a small event at this historical venue, the ambiance is fantastic, as you would expect in a venue steeped in History. The planning phase of the event was handled very professional from the management (Lars Bo's) site, which was extremely important as we booked from abroad and only arrived the day before. On the day of the event...

Yes authentic does also mean old but it's an ok hotel. Friendly staff spacious rooms in ok condition. There's a garden behind the hotel with a terrace. Kids can play on the trampoline, swing or the wooden play house. Breakfast is served from 08:00.

For our trip to Southern Jutland we needed a centrally located place to stay accepting also pets, and were very pleased with our stay at Den Gamle Graensekro. The place turned out to be quite nice, with very quiet and clean rooms. The dinners were very good, if maybe too plentiful, and breakfasts were nice. Very friendly wait staff and...

Very charming old inn. Great service and very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant offers great food at reasonable prices. Of course there are room for improvement. The rooms could need a modernisation, but as they are they give great value for the money. Very good wifi in the rooms.

Location appr. 3 km from Christiansfeld, on what was once the border between Denmark and Prussia/Germany 1864-1920. Historically interesting and quaint inn ("kro"), with lots of space for big celebrations like weddings etc. The rooms are fairly large, and have all the basic necessities, incl. free WiFi, but no luxury like a minibar. The beds were neither too soft nor...

Nice old inn (several hundred years old) with nice rooms. Note that you have to ask for a room with a hairdryer if you need one and don't want to bring your own. A bit disappointing that the room was freezing cold when we arrived - you have to operate the thermostats yourself. We learned from other guests that they...

We wanted to end our 3 weeks tour on the continent with a Danish finale. The room was spacious with comfortable double bed and some terrible paintings om the wall. The bathroom had inadequate lighting and none of the usual amenities ( shampoo, two bath towels,Kleenex), no hairdryer . The soapdispenser contained something with a rather peculiar smell. Free Wi-Fi internet...

Came late in the evening and had 1 night in a familyroom with four comfortable beds. Clean and good looking room with a free internetaccess, and TV. The Danish hamburger (hakkebøf) that was served late in the evening was the big juicy kind :-). Excellent breakfast. Nice staff.
