I spent 3 amazing days on the small island and it was perfect ! So many things to do and see all around (small path till the top with beautiful view deck, kayak till the pearl production and discussion with the local, snorkeling and above all private small beatch discovery). I recommend yourself to bring your fruits for breakfast (they...

Upon reading the Blue Cove reviews on Tripadvisor, you could be forgiven for being a little concerned about the remoteness, the lack of electricity (apart from a couple of hours in the morning and four hours in the evening), and the general 'basicness' of what's on offer. Well it is remote (about 3.5 hour drive from Puerto Princesa to Port...

We spent in Blue Cove resort 3nights. Our sum up : + nice peaceful location (great break from reality :-) ) + very good food (for reasonable price -dinner/lunch) + beautiful island hoping for 700php per person - water was very dirty, no chance to swimm there (a lot of sea grass and stones in the water) - staff was...

Blue Cove is great if you're looking for certain things: - Extreme privacy / isolation - Unplug from life/internet (I mean really unplug) - A real live on the beach experience (not many amenities) However, all of that comes with drawbacks-- and to be clear, Blue Cove is NOT in Port Barton. It's actually 1 hour away by boat from...

If it weren't for Angel, not sure how this resort would run. She is a darling and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time talking with her. Angel spent time with our daughter teaching her new crafts and was an absolute joy! All of this said, clearly they need to put a little more care (and money) into this place. If you...

Quite place with fantastic surroundings, well managed by super kind Angel and David. Accomodations are very basic and "quite" clean but with stunning view. Good food and possibility of island hopping as well as paddling to nearby beaches. Enjoy your holidays ;) Recommended!

Balikbayan friends and a Catholic priest form Texas accompanied us to this island resort. We treated them out and took care of all travel arrangement in the Philippines. The land trip arrangement is a bit pricey at P4500 one way but we got a new Toyota Hiace van. It wa a good choice because the road to Port Barton is...

Well this resort left us with mixed emotions... we loved it! The food the staff the room the location everything was great. Other than the lack of pride in the resort - I assume it is not because Angel and her partner are not interested but the owner perhaps??? Angel and Her Partner are absolutely fantastic hosts although it looks...

My sons and I spent a few days at Blue Cove in July and loved every minute of our time there. We were very sad to leave and would happily have stayed for much longer. Angel and David looked after us so well and did everything possible to ensure our comfort and wellbeing. They are charming and friendly hosts who...

After 2 nights, I regrettably left this place this morning (moving on to El Nido) but could've happily stayed there another week. The resort was run by Angel and David who were very friendly and welcoming; they also spoke English to a very good level which is a nice bonus. Rooms: The rooms were very clean (not sure what the...
