We stayed here for four nights. The place is very beautiful and peaceful. Cottages are small, but clean and with your own privacy. The food is very good, and you can enjoy it in open-air restaurant next to the sea. The staff is super-friendly and helpful. Snorkeling is possible straight from the beach. I strongly recommend to take a hike...

We spent here 3 nights. It was perfect place for relaxing and just enjoying. Trail to the top and fishing village nearby were good activities. We were also fishing with a local fisherman, that was a great trip! Staff (young woman) was amazing and really did everything for us, thanks for that! Prices of the meals (250-300 pesos) were more...

Blue Cove Island resort is a 45 minute boat ride from Port Barton. It is a rustic, charming, friendly little oasis. Please note- this is where you go to get away, and I mean away, from it all. There is limited electricity, the accommodations are similar to camping but you have a villa instead of a tent, the wifi does...

First we wanted to stay for only 3 nights, finally we stayed there for 5 nights. Small accommodation on cute island with familiar atmosphere because there are only 5 cottages. Staff is very friendly. Rooms and food are simple, but the beach and nature are very very beautiful and quiet. The view from all the cottages is fantastic. We really...

For me, Blue Cove Resort was one of the biggest disappointments when it came to accommodation. Sure, it's situated on a secluded white beach with beautiful palm trees, it has this cute wooden cottages and even baby turtles hatch here. But when you pay like €20 per night, you may expect things to be clean and working, at the very...

I spent 3 amazing days on the small island and it was perfect ! So many things to do and see all around (small path till the top with beautiful view deck, kayak till the pearl production and discussion with the local, snorkeling and above all private small beatch discovery). I recommend yourself to bring your fruits for breakfast (they...

Upon reading the Blue Cove reviews on Tripadvisor, you could be forgiven for being a little concerned about the remoteness, the lack of electricity (apart from a couple of hours in the morning and four hours in the evening), and the general 'basicness' of what's on offer. Well it is remote (about 3.5 hour drive from Puerto Princesa to Port...

We spent in Blue Cove resort 3nights. Our sum up : + nice peaceful location (great break from reality :-) ) + very good food (for reasonable price -dinner/lunch) + beautiful island hoping for 700php per person - water was very dirty, no chance to swimm there (a lot of sea grass and stones in the water) - staff was...

Blue Cove is great if you're looking for certain things: - Extreme privacy / isolation - Unplug from life/internet (I mean really unplug) - A real live on the beach experience (not many amenities) However, all of that comes with drawbacks-- and to be clear, Blue Cove is NOT in Port Barton. It's actually 1 hour away by boat from...
