We stayed in this place just for one night for its very convenient location near Australia Zoo and it was a very pleasant surprise. The owners have made this a very beautiful, special and relaxing place where you could also spend more nights, just to chill out. Great facilities to cook your meals, but they also serve a nice breakfast....

Glass House Mountains Ecolodge is a lovely place to stay, a green island surrounded by beautiful gardens and visited by different birds all the time. The option of being able to cook in their community kitchen was a plus. Will recommend to friends!!

Stayed for a night to get away from the city and have a break from work. Owners were lovely and we were showed around the lodge and told about the fruit orchid they were growing before we were dropped off at our room. Lovely suite. We stayed in their Bungalow room. Which had its own kitchen facilities which was nice....

Thank you for the lovely review of The Glasshouse Mountains Ecolodge. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and it is always nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Next time you will have to stay for longer. The orchard and all the different trees are amazing and the fruit as it comes into season is...

We stayed here for a few nights as part of our roadtrip honeymoon. From the moment we were welcomed by a sign with our name on it - to Jenny greeting us and introducing us to the locals - we knew we would love it here! After a personal tour of the grounds and our room, we settled into the...

We so enjoyed having you stay with us. Thank you so much for your amazing review of the Glasshouse Mountains Ecolodge. We are truly lucky to live in such a beautiful, peaceful area. To me, the Qld Train Carriage is the ideal accommodation for honeymooners. Private, self-contained with a lovely balcony looking out onto the rain forest. Hopefully we will...

This little operation is a great place to stop on a trip to the Australian Zoo or for a circumambulation of Mount Tibrogargan (a short walk from the lodge). Terry and Jenny were fantastic hosts. I stayed there twice; once coming from Brisbane and once returning to Brisbane from points north in Queensland.

Had an amazing time at Ecolodge. We booked on the Thursday night for the weekend and got the last room available. So just got in. Was a great experience from the moment we got there. Keith was very friendly and showed us the grounds and what brilliant work he and his team have done to the land and surroundings. By...

Keith,Terry and Jenny are genuine authentic people who achieve an ecologically sound experience. The commitment to living and holidaying with the earth and the beautiful surrounds they're situated in is great. No, there's no TV and that's great. Nestled up close with Tibrogargan the 8000 trees that have already been planted continue to grow as guests are invited to plant...

Chose this place because it was walking distance to the volcanic peaks-glasshouse Mountains. Lovely garden setting with fruit trees (some I never heard of) all around the place. Thank you for your review. We are sorry you did not enjoy some aspects of your stay and are obviously disappointed that you did not raise them with us during your stay as we could have upgraded you or changed your room. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In the heart of a National Heritage treasure, the Glasshouse Mountains Ecolodge offers a unique ecological experience of this fascinating area of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland in South East Queensland. It makes a fantastic base from which to explore the 26 million year old volcanic plugs that make up this incredible landscape, as well as the coastal beaches and hinterland villages. During your stay at the Ecolodge (set on 5 acres of orchard and forest beside a small creek) you can discover bush tucker, enjoy nocturnal frog spotting and bird watching (over 60 different types of birds have been seen). A great place to relax and unwind in this peaceful and quiet nature haven with its birds, butterflies, dragonflies, and even kangaroos. National park walks start 400 metres from the front entrance. Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo is just 10 minutes away and the Ecolodge is only an hour north of Brisbane. ... more   less
