One of the most primitively hotels I have experienced. First two days we had no hot water and the light in the bathroom was not working. Sheets not very clean and the towels was damp once we got new.. And they smelled of old damp fabrics. I do not recommend to book this unless it is the last one available!

Unsanitary, Unsafe, Unfriendly, Unacceptable. We had no idea the Hotel Sanus was an "Eco-Hotel". Well, that's because it isn't. But it sure felt "Eco" when you take into account that the hotel management turns off the power to the lift/elevator so that even elderly individuals are required to schlep themselves and their suitcases up 6 flights of stairs which are...

During our 7 nights stay, rooms were never cleaned, towels and bedding were changed once. Even though the rate included breakfast, it was served occasionally. On check out we were shocked to be charged for an extra 105 Marks for the A/C in the rooms ( we literally had to beg for the remote controls on check in ,and never...

Well located in the centre of town, next to the river Sana and the mosque (with 4 minarets). It is a big old building with basic comfort but requiring a lot of renovation work (some of it is under way). They urgently need a decent elevator, the present one is a scary goods elevator.
