They failed to report domestic violence that occurred in the hotel. A staff saw a guy abusing a woman, a Taiwanese legislator, in the hotel hall way, and did not do anything about it. As expected, she was later beaten in the hotel room. The hotel provided first aid kit and ice packs throughout the whole time, but again, didn’t bother to call the police.

I was here for business trip and it was a nice experience to stay here. Good points from this hotel: (1) the location is strategic which we can found Fuzhong Metro Station, Banqiao Nanya Street Market, Farmer Market, Convenience store, and many more. (2) the hotel staffs were so kind and helpful. (3) the restaurant was also nice with local menus and western. I am a Muslim from Indonesia which should take a look for halal food. I think I had options on this hotel resto. Such as vegan (salad), sweet potatoes, breads, fruits, cereals, etc. (4) There were gym facilities nearby restaurant.(5) the last think is in case of emergency, this hotel room has an escape equipment which use the harness and rope and it is available almost of all rooms on this hotel. Hhmm.. safety is first!

The hotel has excellent location.... Metro and HSR is very near one will not need to take expensive taxis ..... Staff behavior and ambiance is quite good....Rooms and security feature are fine.... I stay there every visit.....

I have stayed three times at this hotel. Its location is fantastic in Banqiao, right next to a metro stop, mall, night market, and most importantly, 20% discount eating at Wang Steakhouse on the 2nd floor!

Half a block from Fuzhong MRT, 5 or 10 minute walk to a lively night market (Nanya.) Hotel was comfortable and modern. Helpful and well informed front desk staff. I stayed 4 nights. Breakfast was varied with western and Chinese offerings. Well pleased. Good value. Would gladly stay here again.

The hotel is modern and has all the services we need for business and relax. Perfect wifi connection in the whole hotel, room very clean and with all useful accessories (ironing table, iron, hair dryer, safety box). Excellent air conditioner (perfectly adjustable for the night), breakfast complete and with large variety of food. I strongly recommend this hotel!

The room is quite spacious, all the staff are very helpful and friendly. Coffee in the lobby is not so good. Breakfast variety could be improved but overall not bad. The hotel is steps away from Fu Zhong metro station, family mart and various other shops. But it is located in New Taipei area, so quite far from tourist spots such as Taipei 101. Although, again, it is close to the metro station and it’s fairly easy to navigate through the subway system.

Superb location - 2 mins walk from FuZhong MRT & Family Mart; 5 mins walk to d nearby commercial area. Hotel is aged but still comfortable. Friendly & helpful staff. The only throwback is tat the shower area cum bathtub is too high to climb in - not conducive for elderlies or young kids. Overall a happy stay indeed.

I stayed here for 3 nights on business. The hotel is not in Taipei City, but it is not far from Songshan Airport. You can easily travel to/from the airposrt by taxi, and it takes only 30-40mins depending on traffic. Although I had never heard of New Taipei City until I stayed here, the city was very nice with some good restaurants, a lively outdoor market with the Lin Family Mansion and Garden especially being worth a visit. The room was pretty much in a standard western style, so there is nothing special I can mention, but it was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff at the reception were also able to speak English and Japanese, and they were very helpful when finding neaby restaurants.

I’ve stayed here many times over the years on frequent business trips and it’s always been a favourite. However, stayed just one night last week on a flying visit - first time this year and just felt the hotel has seen better days and needs a bit of an update. Nothing to complain about as such, but several things in the room, the bar and even the breakfast room were just a little tired. Even the staff were not quite as helpful as previously - still ok, but in the past they’ve been great - this time, just good. I will come back and hope they just spruce things up a bit and bring it back to where it was for years. Never thought I’d rate this hotel only 3 - it is probably a 3.7 or 3.8 even now, but it’s been 4.7 or 4.8 in the past.
