Stayed here for 3 nights. Location was good, only 5 minutes on foot to Fuzhong MRT station. Shops, convenient stores, coffee shops were all around. Room was not big but not small neither. Cleanliness was ok, not too clean. Breakfast was awfully poor, only few slides of toast and jam. Staff was not friendly, especially the girl who was at reception, she was very rude! May come back here if I could not find any better place in Banqiao.

We stayed at this hotel for just one night and it's around 5 minutes away from MRT, we live in a room for four persons and it's big enough. You may approach to the main streets in this area very easily. The only disadvantage is the heater couldn't afford the usage of four persons in a short time, it's better to separate shower time. We didn't eat breakfast here coz we have to catch the flight in the early morning, but it's indeed a bargain choice for short stay.

The place was a bit small for a family room but it was more than enough for a 4 day stay. We have an inclusion of breakfast but please do not expect it would be like a buffet style since they only offer bread with options for spread. It was a hearty breakfast (If you are in Taiwan then eat like a Taiwanese) & was still worth it. The place is impressively clean and they always clean your room every single day. It was winter when we went there and it was our first time to experience winter too but the room made it easier for us to adjust since they also have a good supply of warm water & they have hot & cold option for faucet & bathroom. Though not much of the people speak English but most of the staff are more than willing to help us out. If I would get to visit Taiwan again, this would still be the first on my list. No wonder they have very high review rating in all social media sites.

I had no wifi at all in the room for the one night and had to go to reception to access wifi. Room is spacious with a balcony. Bathroom has no dry area and floor is very slippery. Amenities in room include kettle, fridge, condoms and toiletries; TV with many local channels. The double bed in my view is too small for 2 humans (I was alone so it’s ok) and it’s too soft for comfort and you might also roll off near the edge. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was a variety of buns you can pick up from the reception. No free coffee. Location is good - 5 minutes by foot to Fuzhong station and 1 stop from Banqiao station which is the central station to access HSR and Rail. It takes about 15 minutes train ride to Ximending and Taipei Main station. There are also supermarket, 24/7 convenient stores, Tomods, one huge Japanese toiletries shop, eateries and local snack gift shops. A small night market a stone’s throw away only. I don’t dislike it but I wouldn’t want to return either.

Having arrived from Kaoshiung with little sleep and no hostel at this point, the staff at SleepTaipei were generous enough to give a discount with my two-nights stay and I didn't have to wait long for a bed in their dormitory, which worked for me in the end even with such short notice. Throughout my stay, the staff were extremely helpful with what I needed--from navigating the city and getting to the airport. Even with roommates, the atmosphere was quiet and people were friendly. The beds were clean and there was enough space for all of us to accommodate our things. While there is no option for towels, the toiletries were there in the bathroom which is immaculate all the time. Although, the breakfast choices consist of a couple of jams and toast, I would suggest that they allocate a small pantry or even a table because they would only put that on the desk next to the computers. Overall, the hostel is clean, quiet, and the staff are always accommodating. I would recommend this one and in my case, I'll return when I get the chance.

The hostel is very clean, and not far from the metro station. Its actuqlly located at the 4th floor in a building, so its a bit tricky to find if you didnt have an offline map. Toilet n shower facilities are great n clean. But be mindful that they do not provide towels and slippers to go to the toilet, so remember to bring your own!

We booked in private room for 3 nights but there is dormitory type, if you are just a backpacker. Its just that the bathroom is shared by male and female in dormitory. They clean the room everyday and replenish the some toiletries except with towels. The room have a complete things need like refrigerator, TV, blower, soap gel, shampoo, etc. No issue with wifi. Rate is inclusive with breakfast (bread). Staffs are accomodating and helpful in their guest needs. Location is very near in MRT, 24/7 convenient stores, clothes and souvenirs stores. This would be very recommendable.

My friend and I stayed here on my birthday. We arrived late at night / early morning and the Front Desk Agent couldn't find our reservation. He was kind enough to let us rest first and will just get back to us in the morning. The room is cute. Perfect for a backpack adventure. We are only staying for 3 nights and the location is perfect. Very near to the train station however far from the airport. The place is very traveler friendly. Rate is inclusive of continental breakfast. Not bad for the price we paid. I would only suggest one thing. Do place some towels for your guest to use :)

My friends and I were booked by our travel agent at Sleep Taipei Hostel and Hotel from March 21-24, 2017. On positive notes---We liked the place as it is located near the MRT station, has nearby convenience stores and eateries, and a lot of small stores selling all kinds of stuff---from food, to clothes to souvenirs, anything any tourist would probably need. The hostel is located on a busy commercial area, which makes it lively even at night. Taking breakfast on the wee hour of the morning just like what we did when we arrived, was not a problem. There is a 24/7 convenience store just below the hostel and another one just a few meters away. The room is small, but it is good enough for a relaxing sleep. The bathroom is big, and it is equipped with all the necessary toiletries and a hair blower. Most of the staff do not speak English but they are accommodating anyway. However, one of the staff who looks like the manager to us, is so impressive. His name is TANNER (I hope I spelled it correctly). This guy speaks English well and he was so helpful during our stay. He helped us through our departure and even saw us to the hotel lobby when our transfer van arrived to send us to the airport. We felt his sincerity, and if only for him we will give our 2 thumbs up for Sleep Taipei Hostel. Now, on the negative notes----the wifi was not good. You have to stay at the lounge to get internet connection. T'was good that we bought a local sim with 3 days unlimited internet usage, hence it was not a big problem to us. Another negative comment is they do not clean the room and replenish the towels and toiletries unless you tell them to. Isn't is supposed to be automatic? But they will do once told. And the 'breakfast'----they don't have a pantry, the bread and jam are placed on a counter table in the lounge area, and the coffee is not free! Lol! We just opted to have our breakfast at MOS or Mc Donald's. Overall, I will still recommend Sleep Taipei because of Tanner. We liked this guy so much!!! I hope he can read this. HI Tanner, from the four of us here in Manila. (Waving)
