My wife and I are Anglophone Quebecers who totally embrace the entire culture of the Province in which we were raised. We were going to visit Grosse Ile and the Memorial to the Survivors of the almost always fatal ocean passages that ended just downstream from Ile D'Orleans. We stayed in what most people refer to as a B&B. Leave...

After we spent 3 nights in Quebec City, we then drove to Ile d'orleans to discover the lovely island. Beautiful area, small village overlooking the St. Lawrence River. We stayed at the Gite La Cinquiem Saison. It was delightful. We had a lovely room with windows overlooking the street and area. Bath en suite. The two innkeepers, Pierre and Jean-Yves,...

Two wonderfully warm hosts will provide you with a clean and comfortable room, and a delicious homemade breakfast at the Five Seasons Inn. You will feel at home immediately in their care as they are knowledgable about the island. Centrally located, staying at the Five Seasons Inn will allow you to walk to various art galleries in town or along...

We booked a 1-night stay at Gîte La Cinquième Saison directly with Jean-Yves via his website as we wanted to stay on the island overnight. The Gîte is in a beautiful location directly overlooking St Lawrence river. We had booked the Adagio room which was very snug with a lovely view overlooking the garden and the St Lawrence River. The...

Pierre and Jean-Yves are lovely hosts, so accommodating and warm. It was the last leg of our road trip through Quebec, so we hadn't planned where we were staying. We checked in late in the afternoon the day we arrived on the island. They were so flexible with us. We made last-minute dinner reservations at an local farm (at La...

This lovely B&B just opened in February of 2012, and everything looks so bright and fresh. The owner, Jean-Yves, previously operated a B&B by the same name in Montreal. We never stayed at that location, but note that it received very positive reviews on Tripadvisor. The same high standards are in place at the new B&B on the enchanting Ile...

“We rented the room at the very top of the stairs that had windows on three sides of the room and a privated bathroom. WELL worth the price!!!!!”

“Our room was on the second floor, and we had several windows to look out on the village, or down the road in front of the inn. Our room was quiet, and we didn't hear much road noise. The inn overall is low key. The village is busy with people visiting the stores, bakery, etc. The road in front of the inn is one of the main roads into the village, but it is not a major highway in the least. All in all, the inn offers a nice room, amenties, great breakfast, efficient and helpful hosts, and a good location.”

“The room with two double beds has a window facing the town and the river. Wonderful cross-breeze for sleeping.”

“The view of the river is not direct, so if you'd like to save a few bucks, the street view side is nice too.”
