Stayed at the Layalina for 13 nights in June 2015. It was low season for Thailand, but made no difference to our stay, enough restaurants and bars were still open. The beach is easily accessible and nice for swimming. We enjoyed the wonderful sunsets from our balcony in the evening. The hotel pool is lovely, surrounded by nice plants and...

Just finished a weekend at Layalina. The sad thing is it could have been much better.. the Creek outside smells like an open sewage and causes the whole place to smell so bad you can not go outside.. at high tide the smell goes.. but change of tide and its back.. Food very average.. bed was great... bathroom was horrible.....

Layalina is perfect if you want to spend hours on the beach or in the pool, relaxing in a peaceful location where you can find space on the beach but still have people around and facilities nearby. The hotel is right on the beach so you step out of your room, walk about 3 minutes and you're on the beach....

Layalina is aThai Family run hotel. Small but nicely arranged. Simple but quality. Breakfast can be taken outside by pool terrace or in room on balcony overlooking the beach. Ideal location with access direct onto the beach or directly onto Kamala High Street for shops, bars and restaurants. Beach restaurants near bye within walking distance. Small beach to the left...

The hotel has wonderful location - you need just cross a small bridge to enter the beach. Our room was spacious and comfortable, it was decorated with natural flowers, with good climate system and a comfortable bed, but a bit dark. Especially I'd like to say about towels - they was very good, clean, hygroscopic, good drying. But the shower...

Room was very clean, staff very helpful. Room is off the main road so it is very quiet. I believe all rooms enter from the road side and have a view of the ocean. Breakfast was included, although they have no restaurant they bring it to the room, it is not a typical American breakfast, but it has a lot of...

Kamala Beach location was great for us. Service here was fantastic. In room breakfast or out by the pool was included. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful and our room was spacious. We didn't take advantage of the big tub but we did enjoy the rooftop private patio with a view of the ocean. This hotel is also located...

This hotel was amazing. I went with the heaven room, which means it's the second floor and includes a private roofdeck with a sun lounge and outdoor shower (perfect for cooling off when the sun gets too hot!). My balcony looked out at the ocean with a great view of the sunset. The staff was friendly and helpful. They greeted...
