My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was not nearly long enough. For people who love to get off the beaten path, this was our Nirvana. Upon arrival, passing some of the larger hotels on the way in, you are greeted with the tiniest sign for "Rock n Reef" and a narrow pathway for walking entrance only - and we knew we made the right decision. Not for the faint of heart, the trek down to the property should not be done after too many beers or with too much luggage, however the views and the sound of the ocean remind you why you should just drink your beers at the property and not ever leave again! This place is incredibly special, you really do feel at one with nature, and was unlike anywhere we've ever stayed before. We showed up with a few injuries and so the stairs…
the only place I would want to come back to visit in bali. Christoph was incredible at keeping us informed about where to go and places to visit! Location and beach access was AMAZING! Merci encore!!!
This place is absolutely amazing!! My boyfriend and I stayed three nights at this resort and although I had plans for us to venture out each day, we ended up spending each of our days enjoying the beach right at our doorstep. There are plenty of sun loungers, the food is delicious and prices are good, and the beach and ocean are beautiful. They call it Impossible Beach as it’s hard to access and therefore it’s super quiet and just pristine. There’s even a Manatee who lives in the bay who we were lucky enough to get to swim with TWICE! It was such a magical experience. That being said though, the stairs down to the resort are no joke. Although the hotel does inform you of the climb down, I’m talking about almost 100 steep stairs carved into the cliff. Totally worth it if you…
My partner and I had a awesome time at Rock and Reef, Christophe and all the staff were so nice and helpful!! And the view is spectacular! We love every single bit of our staying there! Thank you so much Rock and Reef
From the minute you walk down the steps at rock n reef and see the view you realise what a special place it is. Staff is extremely kind, rooms are clean and the food is good. Great place to relax and take in some sea views, with a lot of bars and restaurants walking distance (if you want to leave that is ;)). The private beach is the most beautiful in Uluwatu.
