I had an amazing stayed here with my family! Wish to come back again! Fun place and big space for the kids to run around. The swimming pool is big enough and everything is clean! The service is very good!
We came across this new place that just opened this year. Still clean amd fresh. Easy to find. Location near beaches such as Nyangnyang and beach clubs like ElKabron. They had a large parking area which was great. Checkin was smooth. Welcome drink was refreshing. Staff were great and kind. We loved the green surroundings. Rooms were designed like small huts symbolizing balinese ancient living with bamboo walls, doors and windows as well. Each hut with a small terrace and seating places. Room size was small with AC, TV, Telephone. When AC was on, you might as well close the door and windows(no glass window) which felt like being 'cooped' inside. Loved the pillows, just right for me. * no electric kettle and small fridge provided When sleeping, there was constant noise on our outer wall, thinking there was an animal outside but then checked the morning finding that the neighbours AC blower was facing our wall, making the tall plants leaves 'making a scratching sound on the outer wall'. This is probably the one that bothered the most. Also there was a frog underneath our bed.😀 Bathroom was an outdoor shower which was nice. Amenities exclude toothbrush and paste. Because of the bamboo wall, it isnt soundproof, as well as when showering. The view was the garden and in order to get to the pool you will have to go around the fence through the front desk, which was a bit annoying since the pool was actually infront of the huts. ( a connecting door would be great ). The pool itself is open for public, so it can be a little crowded and noisy. For Breakfast we had egg benedicts and sunnysideup, well, maybe the chef could learn more how to poach the eggs and make a better pesto. Could've done better. Gym facilities were great. Still new. Keep up the maintenance. They even allowed a late checkout although we decided not to take it. …
We were so happy with my stay at Tempekan Nyang Nyang that we came back and stayed a month at their sister property, Tempekan Heritage. The main difference is that Heritage is built in a traditional way using bamboo and natural materials. There is no glass so the windows need to be closed when the AC is on, which means it is dark and you may need to turn on the lights. But there is a nice sitting area on the verandah for chilling anyway and it has charging points too. The bathroom is large, outdoors, sunny and well ventilated, with lovely flowering plants so you feel like you are in a garden. It is a good design with the toilet covered so you won't get wet even if it rains. But beware of monkeys from the nearby forest stealing things (don't leave anything you mind losing outdoors). The pool is a little far from the rooms and you need to go through the restaurant. But unlike the pool at Tempekan Nyang Nyang this pool receives full sun during the day and we spent a lot more time in this pool. The premises are very clean and breezy with washing basins and handgel at all entrances, lots of space around and uncrowded although at times the hotel was fully occupied. It feels safe to be here during Covid. Many staff around if that is your kind of thing. The gym has a treadmill, cycle trainer, free weights, and a weighing scale. A nice touch in between the pool sessions. There is no beach you can really walk to as the nearest beaches are all accessible via private hotels. The nearest beach is the one at Tebing Uluwatu, a 1.7km or 20min walk to the access point but you will need to climb down ladders and ropes, which not be suitable for all but the most adventurous. There is a TV in the room with international channels. There is no in-room safe or bar fridge but you can request the staff to put items in their restaurant fridge (the resto is open til 9pm). Self service hot water available 24hrs. WiFi is strong and reliable (it is also a co-working space although I didn't see anyone other than hotel guests there during my stay). The AC did not cool down the room initially but once I discovered how the cold air was being blocked by the shutter used to conceal it in the wardrobe for design purposes it was a simple matter of propping the shutter open with the tissue box in the room and it was fine. I raised this issue to management and believe they will be addressing it. We also encountered some ant problems in our bathroom (they were eating the shampoo!) and a few ant nests in the cracks of the natural stone walls behind the toilet etc, but quite easily resolved by the responsive staff with a can of insect spray. We have stayed at many hotels in Bali over the past 4 years and this hotel stands out for its cleanliness and professionalism.…
I stayed here and I was very pleased ... Nice pool, gym, free hot water that I like it cause I love to drink tea all day. Rooms very clean and new even with tv. Nice open shower and the restaurant has great breakfasts and meals in an affordable price and yummy. Plus the staff is super friendly specially Cheff Dwi Barista Wira and front desk Dyan Is a beautiful place 🙂 They have a real coffee machine and a welcome drink !
When we first arrived in Uluwatu, we struggled to find a coliving and coworking space in the area and there didn't seem to be any of them around like in Canggu or Ubud. The Tempekan Heritage is the pioneer in this space specially built for digital nomads and remote workers. This beautiful green little oasis is newly built, very well-designed with bungalow-styled accomodation with fast internet and plenty of space for working on your laptop. Good location and close to many main beaches. The bed is super comfy and we love the outdoor shower. Our room is cleaned everyday and we love to come back to a fresh room with the beds nicely made everyday. Staff is very friendly, always smiling and very attentive to our needs. The pool is the highlight, just lovely. The place comes with a gym and we love a great workout when we are not out surfing. We made a few friends who also work remotely and recently moved to the area. Looking forward to this place fostering a strong community of remote workers and digital nomads in the near future. We alternate our locations between canggu and uluwatu at the moment and will definitely come back to stay here when we find ourselves in the area. Highly recommend this place to any remote workers"…
