There's was a lot of confusion when I checked in because many places still have the name listed Ayu Guna Inn, but it's now called Livingwell Inn. With the name change came new owners, I'm guessing, because this place was great. It had a good vibe for young professionals and couples, the food in the restaurant was amazing, and the rooms look nothing like what was pictured before. The only downside is the standard rooms still don't have hot water, but the deluxe rooms do. Otherwise, the room was clean with no signs of disrepair or mold that was stated previously. I had a lovely stay there.
Full of spider, no helpful and no friendly staff, they don’t speak English, cold water, open ceiling, very very dirty bathroom, mosquitos everywhere in the room, wind in the room because of the ceiling and the useless doors... Don’t go there !!!
First of all: DON'T BELIEVE IN THEY'RE PICTURES. Staff: not helpful or even friendly. I asked for restaurants and best way to go to Gili, unfortunately they couldn't understand me. Room: moldy and smelly REALLY BAD. There was also a hole in the ceiling of our room and the walls were peeling. The sheets were very dirty. Bathroom: also moldy and smelly, absolutely dirty. The shower is small and with just cold water. > During the night a huge black lizard appeared behind my bed and we needed to change rooms. There was no help to move our stuff or an apology. In the other room there were 4 geckos and many spiders in the bathroom. And the mold and horrible smell was there again. (PS: I'm from a rainforest area in Brazil, when I say huge lizard, I mean HUGE lizard) > I had about 54 BITES of mosquitos during the afternoon and evening I spent in the pool and inside my room. > In the morning we tried to have breakfast and was informed that there wasn't free, when I had booked and paid a room with this service included. > The pool is the only reasonable thing, but was dirty as well.…
The walls are litterly covered in fuzzy mold. The pillows themselves are also covered in mold. The bathroom stinks like sewage and the shower water ligitimitly stinks like even worse sewage. The doors dont shut properly unless you lock them everytime and mosquito bites are frequent here. Buuut the a/c is strong, there is a surprisingly decent pool and you are in walking distance to the beach so that's cool.
Booked 2 nights and only stayed for one. Way too expansive for what it is and has to offer. The facilities are beautiful but it's VERY UNCLEAN and the staff are very unhelpful. Very unwelcoming vibe but it's close to Padang Padang beaches.
