If you plan to have short break and don't spend much time in the room, this is one of the best place to go even if you live in Bali. Cleanliness could be better, bed not that comfortable. Spend the time mostly at the swimming pool or restaurant. Great sunset, comfort food and beer. Breakfast was average. I gave 4 stars because of: 1. Staff are great 2. Swimming pool with stunning view and awesome sunset. 3, Good food 4. Good value

Where to start this is barely a 2 star hotel unless you are used to living in a cave ,the staff barely understand english and most have miserable faces except the gardeners. The rooms definitely need a total refurb and bathrooms need demolishing disgusting does not even describe it mould everywhere round bath and tiles and bath itself badly stained. You cannot leave patio doors open at all due to monkeys getting in or leave towels on balcony or they will be nicked by same animals,Aircon dripped on floor making it slippery although they said they had fixed it twice. The breakfast choice and quality of food was poor which was a pity because the view from breakfast room was lovely. Now for the finale!!!! i come to the relaxation by the pool areas NOT the bottom one with the infinity pool which is owned by single finn and not hotel has music blaring out all day and every day into early evening so on being told this when questioning reception staff was told upper pool was for hotel guests only what complete BULL that turned out to be the pool was open to people on a day paying basis with music being played at full volume from 8 in morning to 8 at night which is great if you are a lover of GANGSTA RAP by KHALID when questioning the manager about this is response was it was so guests did not feel lonely and made them feel happy WHAT A MUPPET the music was purely for the immature and very unprofessional pool staff. My advice would be find somewhere else to stay as the food generally and the balinese people around the area of ulawatu are lovely.

My experience there was poor: How a great location can be spoiled by terrible service A few examples: 1. Personnel not smiling (we are in indonesia, the smiling people. Incredible.), poor english (I did not see a local customer) 2. Cannot charge anything on the room unless you drop a deposit. Except they do not tell you that at checkin and you find out by staff in the restaurant and they are not at all willing to find you a solution (having to walk all the way back to the room for a credit card at breakfast for a cappuccino when you upfront paid a suite ocean view should not be the only option) 3. Drinking tap water is not recommended, but hey we leave you 2 mini water bottles (300ml) in the room! 4. Room service? “Not for breakfast you have to come to the buffet”. Of course, breakfast is so not the main meal you tend to take in your room.... 5. Want a last bottle at the bar? “No cannot, you know we close in 10 minutes right? (11pm.....)”. Had to fight for it under the promise we leave with it if not finished at 11pm. But we will give you paper cups, cannot take the glasses. Anyhow, given the location and standing they claim they should do better than camping service. If you know that when you come

Stayed in the Delux Ocean View Suit, not delux at all! Mosquitos all night and have had animal faeces appear in our room every day we’ve been here after cleaning it. No refund because we booked through Booking.com even though we have to deal with animal faeces and mosquitos every night. 😡😡😡

Travelling from the UK we have spent the last 3 weeks all over Bali, had a lovely experience and stayed in some excellent resorts. Checked into blue point Bay Villas and Spa for a night, we only have 4 nights left in Bali. We wanted to check that this place was as good as the pictures online before we committed to the small remainder of our holiday which we obviously want to be beautiful - It was a good we only paid the one night job too! The room is not at all well maintained, stains on the ceiling, the room has not been cleaned properly for some time, the minibar is empty and you can clearly see that there is no money being put back into this place. Just to put the cherry on to the top of it all the Sea View Senior Suite that we booked looks over a demolition site. Apparently there was a fire in 2018 and they lost a couple of villas, I empathise but working in construction myself would expect the area to have been at least cleared over the past 18 months! There was no mention of this eyesore online or during booking, there were also no pictures anywhere to even have any idea of what a poor deal we had paid them for. Reception would not move us to another room and it was too late in the day to organise an alternative. At least it was our first and has been our only disappointment during our visit to Bali, the 7 other hotels/resorts that we have stayed in were all excellent. I would avoid this establishment if you can. I will take some more pictures when it is light in the morning but here’s a glimpse, the view of the demolition site extends to the right quite some distance and right across our view. What could be a lovely place!
