There's nothing else we can say to express what we felt after staying at Melali except wonderful! Liam and Elise are by far the most friendly and helpful host we've ever met. They treat us more like family than guests. And the place is just beyond what we expected. It's super clean, and spacious. The pool will always entice you to jump in, and it's enveloped with lush greeneries. The workers, Gaby and Nancy are also super lovely, and they cook very delicious breakfast. There you will also meet Dippy and Flossie, two cute dogs that will always boosts your mood up :) All in all, it was a truly irreplacable experience to stay here and we were so sad to leave! Already looking forward to our next Melali experience!

A friend recommended us to stay here and we are so lucky she did because it was the best place we could have spent our month in Bali. Grounds are gorgeous, rooms are styled with taste, upkeep is impeccable, hosts are really great people, staff is very friendly, and the breakfast provided every other day is so delicious. Location was good for what we wanted, which was a getaway but still accessible to many cafes, spas, restos, and most importantly to the best white sand beaches. Was sad to go!

I stayed at the Melali for three days to get some work done and get away from the distractions and noise of Canggu, and I couldn't have picked a better place for my "staycation". I was in the pool villa, and the room was bigger than it looked in the pictures. It was cozy and comfortable - a great place to unwind and relax, but also perfect for having a focused and productive weekend. The villa was so quiet, peaceful, and beautiful, and I had a wonderful view of my private plunge pool and garden to look at every day. Elise and Liam were very hospitable and helpful too, and they had lots of suggestions for where to go, where to eat, and what to do in Uluwatu. I highly recommend the Melali for your Uluwatu stay!

The first time I opened the door and stepped into Melali, I fell instantly in love. Liam and Elise are such a wonderful couple, they paid attention to every little details and always got everything I need. Once I've arrived, they got me sweet personal letter and a flower on my bed, not to mention the room was very clean and spacious! The half-open bathroom was beautiful and they provided high quality shower utensils and beautiful kimono. I can't be more satisfied with the service. The breakfast was delicious, mbak Nancy and Gaby were such a sweetheart. They cleaned up the room every 2 days and they even changed the flowers every time they cleaned up the room. If you need any informations related to the area, they have notebook of informations you need, so you don't need to google or do your own research, they really provided every information you need. If you have any questions, they are very eager to help you and sort things out. Elise and Liam are very passionate, I can see how they really put their heart to taking care of this place. I stayed there for 6 nights and ended up staying for 8 nights in total. The last 3 days of my stay I need to work and conduct live training session and Thank God Melali's wifi was super fast, I never had any connection problems. The location was perfect, it was quiet but also near from the nearest restaurants nearby (2 mins walk from Gooseberry Boutique and Cafe and 5 minutes scooter drive from the other restaurants in Uluwatu), but if you don't feel going out, they provided menu & phone number in the living room of lots of choices of restaurants nearby that you can call and have a night in. I miss my stay in Melali already, I miss having breakfast with Dippy and Flossie (aw those sweet sweet doggos) :) Definitely I will go back to Melali. End your search here, I would definitely recommend you to stay in Melali if you're staying in Uluwatu :)…

When I first opened the door to this little paradise home in bingin - uluwatu I instantly felt home. Elise welcomed me with open arms. The place is very calm, chilled with good vibes, ideally for me to work and a very yummmmyyy breakfast. Definitly recommend anybody to stay there, be it solo travellers or as a couple. Thanks to the whole crew Elise, Liam, Nancy, Gaby, Flossy and Dippy for creating a beautiful welcoming space.
