was passable when having an overnight transfer but was becoming an eyesore Today there is the novatel on the airport grounds and reachable by the airport shuttle bus in 5 minutes. anyway, distant history and do not borther to try to book a room at cks

這幾年出國分別從南到北 發現桃園機場進步很多 除了有舒適好休息的座椅外 還有免費貴賓室, 無料淋浴室, 超級無敵用心的 一航二航都有別於以往, 舒適度整個up了好幾級

Stayed there for a night. It was nice and the food was good. It is not a 5 star but it is a good 3 star. Rooms were nice and comfortable and staff friendly. Did a stayover between flights and was glad I stayed there and did not go all the way into Taipei. All water in Taiwan is undrinkable from the taps. You must drink bottled or provided drinking water. So there too it is not. I was glad to see the "Tap water unsafe to drink", or "Not drinkable water" or whatever it said in the bathroom. It warns unknowing tourists of the situation and saves them from health problems. I travel Asia regularly so I know but many do not, so it was good advice to have boldly printed.

Had a 7 hour flight layover in Taipei and opted to stay close to the airport. Not a good move. Have you ever stayed at a large city motel located innner city? Me either, but this must be what it is like. Knew I was in trouble when the small note in the bathroom said water was not drinkable. There were toe nail clipping on the carpet and the wall paper was peeling. thank goodness it was too late and I too tired to care. But I made special effort not to touch anything. Eeewwww. Either go into Taipei for the night or keep going to your destination.
