Big Room. Breakfast very homely type of food. ( Toast your own bread etc with Peanut butter or Jam. ) Breakfast below average. Viewing deck is fantastic. Quiet and nice place for instagram. Good to travel up with a hired driver. You may lose your way if you check in at night. Have a good local guide with you.
The villa is located in top the hill of Cing Jing. A very nice and comfy patio welcomed you as soon as you arrived. Friendly and helpful staffs carried our luggages and checked us in smoothly. Complimentary coffee and tea are provided from 7am until 10am daily at the lobby. I had a penthouse type room where the beds are located on top of the room. Very nice bathroom with bathtub overseeing the hill view. Hot water dispenser is provided at the corridor of the villa. Fast WiFi and multi channel tv are provided in the room. Taiwanese style breakfast is also included.
Stay in cingjing with overnight stay in Le retour was not only great, view was fantastic. Love it with no regrets....Clean rooms n staff was friendly. Going to cingjing strongly recommended a transport to go up Villa, it's very steep up to the top of Villa. Enjoyed our stay !
Quite new and well maintained place. European look with a small fireplace. Nice viewing deck with full mountain view. Not walking distance to restaurant or 7-11. Free transport to their own restaurant. They can also arrange for sunrise viewing at He Huan Mountain.
I really wanted to give a three and a half star... The place is ok, clean and decent. The view in front of the main building was nice and good to take pictures. We stayed in the little wooden house (actually just a room). It was clean, but didn't really put any effort on interior decoration. The view was just ok, you can see the mountains from your window and patio, but then not much else then that. The breakfast was simple and lack of choices. Coffee was just fine, not surprising. What bothered me the most was their staff's attitude. Nobody was smiling and you don't feel welcome at all. It was the same when we return our keys. I think it might be the owners problem with their staff, but I really don't like their attitude. It is a shame since we can tell they can really do better than that. Iwouldn't want to recommend this place to my friends.
The main cabin was alright, but there's one lower cabin for single and twin bed, you will want to stay away from. It's like a basement, all kinds of flies at the door welcoming you everyday and night, large bathroom but tiny window. Balcony is surrounded by trees within few inches from your face, view is just a feet wide if you pick an angle to stay away from the trees in front of you. I regretted coming as soon as I walk in the room, I'd give it 2 star for this room under this price. Breakfast was alright, coffee from the machine tasted weird, could be the milk... I didn't bother find out and just pick other drinks. Staffs were friendly overall.
Recommended by friend. Environment was good. Nice view from the outdoor high tea area. Room was clean, and comfortable. Negative feedbacks 1. Staircase. Staying at 3rd floor means more energy required to take luggages up 1 floor by another. 2. Staff - not looking "excited" to see guest coming for check in :-) 3. Dinner - not available here but only at sister hotel. After all, was nice stay as the view is good and near to the Qin Qin farm.
Stayed there a night. The room was small, but overall the place is clean. No lift though, and you have to get your luggage up yourselves. Mountain view room! :) The lady boss is very friendly as well :)
We stayed 4 nights in a standalone 2-storey wooden hut next to the main building of the villa. It has a thatched roof with the bedroom on the 2nd floor and living room and bathroom on the ground floor. It's nice cosy place and the balcony outside the bedroom opens up to the top of a beautiful cherry blossoms tree which happened to be blooming! Awesome! The bathroom has a window with view of tree branches outside. It's a novelty to have your own self-contained little hut away from other guests in the villa. The view from this villa is awesome! On a sunny day, it's nice to sit under one of the several sun shade tents or deck chairs placed around the viewing platform, to enjoy the view below. Though you have to overcome some steep slopes to get up if you don't drive, this can be easily fixed by calling for a private cab at TWD 50 per pax to anywhere within Cingjing. A small price to pay for the beautiful sceneries from the higher level. The receptionist was very helpful and she gave us suggestions on places that we can explore in Cingjing and surrounding areas. Overall, we have good memories of this place as the owner and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were very touched when they invited us to join them for dinner on nights when we were too lazy to go out. I will stay here again if I return to Cingjing.…
The rooms are clean and have excellent view, staffs are friendly & helpful but not well versed in English. They will explain in details when you check in and also able to arrange transportation if you need. They served bread & Taiwan porridge for breakfast and fresh coffee from machine. The room I stayed has an attic which is the bedroom and the stairs will lead you to the living area. The only complaint I have is the stairs are really steep so not advisable for family with children and elderly. They have 3 dogs but all are friendly & adorable. They have new rooms which is bright and clean, quad room comes with 2 queen beds and standing shower & balcony while double room 1 queen bed with bathtub & standing shower. These 2 rooms stand alone so will be good for family of 6 persons as you've your own privacy. If you are going up in December, the temperature can go as low as 4 degree celsius in the night.…
