I really suffered the one night I was there. It was 5 degrees and the room had no heating. Can you imagine 5 degrees without heating??? I had to wear 3 layers in the room. Definitely will not go back there again.

We stayed in Qingjing for one night. The great points of this BnB are its view and staff. The staffs are very helpful, informative, and patient. Few days before you arrive, they sent you an email about the weather and how to get there. Location, it's on a steep hill, so if you don't like to walk (especially if you come with young children or elderlies and bring big luggage), better rent a car to minimize the walk. Upon check-in, they offer a welcome gift (choose between doll or towel or wine). They provide a leaflet with a map and bus timetable of Qingjing, and also explain about the nearby attractions, lamb show time, best walking route, etc. There's also a laptop with google street view ready to help explain the route (very informative, right?). We arrived early so the room was not ready yet, but when we came back in the afternoon, our bags were already in the room. We are lucky to get a room on the second floor of the main building, so no need to climb more stairs when we were already tired after walking whole day. There are several cafes and restaurants nearby but we chose to have dinner in the house. It was quite good and the price was reasonable for touristy area. They also provide lunch and breakfast. Breakfast was simple, choose between porridge and toast. The room was spacious and clean enough, same goes for the bathroom (remember that it's a BnB so don't expect too much). The view was great, we could see the beautiful garden, mountains, and clouds. All in all, our stay was very enjoyable.

If u do have bulky luggage, good luck as car couldn't drive up to the minsu, u need to carry the luggage through the luggage path,a steep slope before u reach the reception office. Upon check in, v received free gift from the minsu, there r few gifts to select n v chose the towel as it is more useful compare to others. Abit special as I never received gifts from hotel or minsu. To the room, it is a headache for us, not recommended if travel with old ppl. It is not user friendly as there r many staircase to go through before reaching our room, no lift in this minsu. Luckily, the staffs helped to carry our luggages to the room during check in and out of the room during check out (pity staff). The weather in Mar was so cold, around 10c and the heater in the room is not warm enough,we got to buy heat pad from 7-11 to warm ourself. From website pictures, the room's floor looks like parquet, but it is tiles and is so cold to step on it.So recommended to wear thick socks or bedroom slipper. We booked 情來情韻四人4 pax room, the room is big, comes with 2 floors in the room, there r 1 queen size bed in each floor. Is not recommended for those who travel with young child to stay in this room as the child might climb up the staircase. Toilet is clean though it looks a bit old and yellowish. The plus point for this room is the superb non blockage view (Hehuanshan Shan view),good view for cloud sea and sun rise. Another good point is, it located near to eateries such as Mos Burger, local food stalls,western/steamboat restaurant,7-11,little Swiss garden n carton King, about 300m, 5-10min walk from minsu. The road to the amenities is narrow n dark during night time,so a torch light is a must. The eateries close around 9pm and there r not much activities during night time. The only activity is to shop at 7-11,hehe. The breakfast is good.It comes with simple local and western food.Local food such as porridge with some side dishes, western food such as ham, fried egg, sausage and bread. Not to forget, the staffs r polite and friendly. Will consider to visit again if the issue on the facilities can be overcome, I.e lift and heater.

The hotel is within walking distance of Small Swiss Garden, Carton King restaurant and 7-Eleven (about a 5-10 minute walk) We had booked for double storey villa (情語雙人房), first floor are the living room and balcony, Second floor will be the master suite. This bedroom overlooks the mountains which allows you to see the sunrise. The rooms were very well kept and clean too. Love the friendliness and helpful staffs, They helped us to arrange transport to Cingjing farm about TWD50, if you planning to walk is about 60 minute. Do note that there are a lot of stairs and slope up to the hotel, so my advice not to carry huge luggage. There is no air-conditioner in the room but the temperature here is cold at night around 14-16 deg (March 2016)

The counter people are very warmth and courteous. When we reached there, we were given a welcome each. The welcome gift are not cheap. The place is also central located and is within walking distance to the city. Weather is very cold in December 15. It is a place that is worth staying and my two young kids enjoyed it very much.

the hotel room is nicely decorated and very clean and neat. The view at the balcony was superb. We regret we didn't spend enough time there during our stay. The staff was very helpful for the direction and booking of airport transfer.

Decided to give this hotel a try since the pictures on online seem great. Paid a total of TWD5400 online for the 'qing ren (lover) suite'. (Side note:I stayed at CingJing for 02 nights, 1st night at Starry Minsu , 2nd night here) To get here, from the main road, its a steep U slope up and that's where you will reach the carpark of the hotel. (car will be able to access to this point). Once you alighted, you will have to pull your luggage up another straight steep slope for about 10 metres at least as car will not be able to drive further as it is too narrow. The reception / lobby is right few steps away in front of you after you finished the slope. Checking in was fast. I received my free gift as online booking promotion comes with a free gift of my choice. Took the key and head towards my room. To my horror another flight of stairs was awaiting for me. I'm quite sure I took at least 50 to 60 step before i reach my room on level 2. When I thought finally I could take a rest, I was so wrong about it. Room Pro- It was true to picture, spacious. Balcony was my favorite part of room. Con- 1- We choose this room because it stated it came with an electronic stove warmer. (this is important, its winter time, and on average it hit 7 degrees at night). The stove warmer did work, but could only feel the heat less than half a metre from it. which means it totally useless. And for your infor, there isnt any heat mat provided for the bed. We wore jackets, gloves and socks for that night. 2-Bed was comfortable but there was a clear thin layers of dust on top of those sheets and pillowcase. The only explanation was this room was not sold for quite some times. I did not realized it in the first place, till I saw the fibers dust on my hp screen which was placed screen down on the bed earlier on. Since we check in late, we did not bother the recep, we just carry the blanket and pillows out of our room and clear it off as it would be much faster. 3-The bathtub was divided by a door from the toilet bowl, instead of a curtain. We did not bother to close it which was a huge mistake. Water running from the tap was yellowish at first. (there was a notice on the wall stating that water colour difference might be a little different was water its from hill or something which i couldn't remember.) But after running for a good 5 mins. I dont get to see that yellowish water for the rest of my stay. Even water from the "Jacuzzi" function holes had yellowish water as well. Since I had my doubts about it, not sure whether its like what the notice is, or was it the problem from the bathtub and taps itself? We did a minor cleaning to it. (Side note: The Jacuzzi function have a button to activate it, but the tub must be filled with full water before activate it if you do not want to get yourself wet like we did due to the strong pressure) As the water spilled one the side where the toilet bowl is, what we did not realize was there was no water trap or drainage, which result in a mini flood at that area. (if you could understand what i mean). Every time you enter to relief yourself, you will have to step into the freezing water which irritates me a lot. decoration- those little figures are glued dead to the table and shelves. It gave the countryside feel, but at the same times it collected lots of dust, and im talking about thick layer of dust. Only the eye level shelf and table are clear. The others you may refer to pictures. This is one of the worst room ive stayed here. However breakfast is fine, and the staff are willing to help when you need information. for the price paid, skip this place.

Though the walk up to my room on the 3rd floor at Block C hurt but the sea of clouds view from the balcony is superb. If you have large/heavy luggage, good luck. I spent my Christmas eve and Christmas at Qingjing and I am glad I booked this resort. 5 mins walk to the nearby 7-11, Starbuck, MosBurger, restaurant, Swiss garden and Carton Box King, foodcourt. Unfortunately the road path is without any road lamp, do carry a torchlight with you at night. The room is huge and the view from the balcony is spectacular. Breakfast is good. Their local porridge is superb. Free wifi and complimentary airport to boil water. The temperature will drop to 1 deg C. Be warned to wear warm clothes as there isn't any heater in the room. To travel up to Hehuangzhan, check with the staff for booking of local mini bus which cost only NT$700 to NT$900 per person for 4 hours roundtrip tour. For dinner, I strongly recommend the Chinese Restaurant in QingJing Farm Guomin Hotel. Superb set menu for 2 person cost only NT$600 complete with a soup, fish, chicken, vegetable and cut fruit.

The staff at the reception were friendly. It is quite convenient to walk to the shop houses nearby so if there is a need to buy any necessities at night it would be accessible and withing walking distance. The rooms looks average. The view from the rooms is nice to see the sunrise. Breakfast is simple. Overall stay is pleasant.

Booked this place for one night during our stay in Qingjing Farm. Location wise, this resort is situated quite close to the Qingjing Farm Guomin Hotel bus stop so it's quite convenient if you were to take a bus there. There are signs leading you to the resort so it's not easy to get lost. :) The staff there were really friendly too and would give us specific directions to any place we wanted to go. Overall a nice resort to stay in!
