I think the place is over rated. Firstly, the website indicated the wrong bus stop to alight as it should easier to reach the place one bus stop of the one shown in the website. Hence, I have to climb uphill, dragging my luggage, panting and sweating despite only 10 minutes walk due to the slope. We are greeted by a man who is the caretaker of the hostel. He gave a briefing and we were led to a corner room which is quite spacious. In addition, hot water and bed warmer are available, it's also located near to 711 and other eateries such as Mos Burger, Starbucks etc (only 5 minutes walk), Swiss Garden is also nearby - plus points. However, the hygiene portion was pretty lacking. The blankets are velvet so it collects dusts, toilet condition was not ideal as the facilities are old. Breakfast was only bread and some drinks. Honestly, I think the hostel next to Here is Good Home would be a better choice.…
Location is good, within a short walking distance of Little Swiss, some eateries, and convenience stores. The rooms are cosy though in the room which I stayed there were some faulty light fixtures. Hot beverages and bread are provided as with most minsu (homestays). The owner of the place (seems like a 1-man-show) is a helpful young man. He showed us the rooms and advised us on the visiting of the attractions in CingJing. Overall, our stay was alright.
