I left for Da Nang, Vietnam via Taipei, so I arrived at Taipei Taoyuan Airport in the evening and stayed there for just one night. I booked a Klook car for both the round trip and the day before and headed from the airport (about 4,700 yen).
I had reserved another hotel near Shilin Night Market that was cancelable, but about 10 days before departure, this hotel offered a non-refundable room at 80% off, so I changed it. It was convenient because it was less than 10 minutes walk from Shilin Night Market. If you are not going to Shilin Night Market, it is not a very convenient location. A deluxe twin room with a toilet room (with washlet) and a shower room was 11,179 yen per room without meals. There are some suspicious points about the original price setting.
The front desk staff were not friendly. There was a woman who could speak a little Japanese, but in the end we communicated in English. The hotel was new and clean. It was like a business hotel, so it was not luxurious, but it was enough because I only needed to sleep. The bed was large, the closet had no door, and there was no safety deposit box, so I left my passport and other things at the front desk when I went out. The slippers are disposable, and two plastic bottles, cola, tea, tea bags, and coffee packs are provided free of charge.
There is a sofa corner outside the entrance. The smoking area is outside on the road side, but there is a bench on the premises near the parking entrance, so I smoked there. There is a large public bath on the second floor that can only be used by women. I didn't use it, but there seems to be a coin laundry on the roof. There is a cafe on the first floor where you can get breakfast. There were several convenience stores nearby.

I had 4 nights stay in this hotel. Therefore I’m quite particular about the condition of the room prior the checkin. Firstly there were noises from the AC in the first room, then the same goes for the second room (happened during the mid night) that I requested to change. The next day I was relocated to the third room and the noise issue still occurred. So the hotel sent this technician to do the fixing and it’s finally run smoothly in peace.
Next, the bedding in deluxe double room was a combined twin bed, there was a complete sink at the middle. Asides that, quality of the mattress itself is just as bad as without any good foam/spring support in it. That could be one of the worst mattress I’ve ever slept on.
Other than that, the hotel is tastefully design, with nice layout and set up.

Room is fine. Location not the best, however acceptable.
Plenty unwelcomed arrogant policies, such as.. even there are vacant rooms available they won't honor early check-in, unless you pay hefty per hour charge. No coutesy late check-out either.. 11 am sharp.. unless if you pay per hour rate.
These only tell the attitude of this hotel. They don't seem understand what hospitality means.

This time I stayed at a new boutique hotel in Taipei that opened less than a year ago, and it has good parking. I heard it also has a spa pool?
And the price is sweet! This time, it only costs $1212 for one person to stay in a family room.
I thought I must share it with everyone~
advantage:
Driving enthusiasts come to the greater Taipei area and avoid the worries of high parking fees.
It is close to Shilin Night Market, a five-minute walk away. There are also many snacks nearby. Just downstairs of the hotel is Louisa Cafe.
Taiwan's local chain brand, opened less than a year ago, with brand new equipment and spare parts
Disinfection-free toilet facilities, and some rooms also have dyson hair dryers
The room is full of Taiwanese elements, such as the design of Hakka fabric flowers and ancient crabapple flowers. The drinks provided by the free MINI BAR are root beer, winter melon tea and a fresh cup of filter coffee!
There is enough water in the bathroom, it doesn't get hot or cold, and the air-conditioning temperature is also very stable.
There are water dispensers on each floor, and all rooms have windows with Taipei city or mountain views.
shortcoming:
There is currently no breakfast, but there are many breakfast shops nearby. The prices are very reasonable (the same as those in the south). There is also a free coffee machine on the second floor.
I just went there this time and it happened that the spa was under maintenance. It was a pity that it couldn't be used (otherwise there would be a spa at this price in downtown Taipei...it would be a waste of money)
It's a pity that the hotel is considered a business travel type with few public facilities. There is no gym but there is a paid laundry room.
There is no bathtub in the hotel. Travelers who like to take a bath may want to think again.

Arrogant and unfriendly counter staff who throw T&Cs at guests who inadvertently cross the 11am check-out time. Hotel tried hard to charge additional fees in an unfriendly way - If the staff had been polite and empathetic, I would have just paid it.
Wait at lift lobby can be slow at times as there are just 2 lifts running.
Decent room and coin laundry facilities available at the roof. Hotel looks new.
Not much food choices in the immediate vicinity and no breakfast provided.
For this price, better value can be found elsewhere.

The room itself was decent and clean, which was a plus. However, the location left much to be desired as it wasn't very accessible or convenient. Unfortunately, there were no breakfast options nearby apart from Louisa Coffee, and being surrounded only by 7-11 wasn't ideal. Considering these factors, I felt the price wasn't justified. Additionally, the customer service could use some improvement.

The three-person room is simple, clean, and quite spacious... It's close to Shilin Night Market, but it's still a little distance away, quiet and not messy. There is Louisa Coffee next to the waiting room. Although the clerk's attitude is not good, it does not affect my mood. The hotel service is also very good. It is a highly recommended business hotel.

Difficult to find new nice hotel in Taipei with such a nice rate.
Very clean and new.
Sometimes you need to remind the hotel front desk you need room cleaning.
