Just in front of Taitung Transfer Station The transportation is very convenient No matter what you think about, the Taitung Mountain Line (Longitudinal Valley Line) or the Taitung Sea Line, Taiwan’s most popular cruise-style buses Very convenient The price of the hotel is also very favorable noble or not Although the room is not big But the whole thing is quite neat and clean The water quality has been specially softened It’s also very comfortable to take a shower Skin feels it personally Various breakfast options Near Tiehua Village and Wave House at night Lots of activities and crowds You can also choose to visit Zhengqi Road Tourist Night Market All the good food, drinks and fun in Taitung are concentrated here. Highly recommend to friends who like to travel to Taitung to stay here.

Recently renovated the hotel is clean, modern and tidy. The location, right next to the bus station is great, the wifi is flawless and the buffet breakfast hits the spot.
The only downsides are the occasional smell of sewage (put a damp towel over the drain the bathroom and it goes away) and that the room was small, giving not quite enough room in the bathroom for toiletries, or in the main room for two people to be able to be moving about easily.
Helpful staff pointed us to their sister hotel nearby to hire bikes, and there's hot ginger tea in the lobby in the evening.

If you prefer to travel on foot or by public transportation, you couldn't love the location of Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II more. It is right opposite to the Taitung Bus Station, where you could take almost all buses to various towns and most tourist spots in Taitung. It is right opposite to the old train station (which is now a park), right next to a shopping arcade. Supermarkets, convenient stores, the main shopping street, the market, the night market, nice restaurants, a bookstore, park, and Tiehua Music/Artist/Cultural Village are all within a 10-minute walk.
There are very nice souvenirs available in the hotel lobby or right next door. There is also self-service laundry on the 10/F. The staff was efficient and hospitable, too. However, the hotel could be better maintained. There is much room for improvement in terms of cleanliness. I understand that the hotel was renovated from an old hotel, so I understand why there's only one slow lift.
In the family suite we stayed, the room was in general well-designed and made good use of every square foot. All the basic necessities are provided. The bed had good support. Yet, I couldn't help but feel a bit funny when the air-con was on. Not sure if it's the air-con filter or so, but I had much better sleep with the windows open despite the waves of noise from the street. While I could see the effort of the staff in keeping the room clean, the spider webs and dust on the window frames made me feel like Halloween.
Breakfast was served in the basement. The food was suffice in terms of variety, but most tasted so-so. There are local tour groups (mostly elderly) staying at the hotel. So, many of them came real early, swept the food in no time that the staff couldn't refill the food in time.
If you are looking for affordable accommodation in Taitung city, and convenience is your priority, this is the right place. If you expect more in terms of cleanliness and comfort, you may like to think twice.

Location is the best as it's just opposite the main bus station and in the city center. Nearby is Tie Hua Village. AC is centrally controlled and not adjustable. The hotel is shabby and needs renovation. The price is not cheap.
