No way is this a 3 star, it cannot be more than a 1 star, its so grim in every possible way. They speak no English but the reception staff are friendly, the room was large, beds were okay and shower was pretty good. Its just the hallways and corridors which are really poor and need more than a lick of paint. I didn't stay for the breakfast so cannot comment but there are loads of restaurants and bakeries within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. Do yourself a favour and do not stay here guys it didn't feel safe with no safety deposit box in the room. We stayed one night and swiftly checked out. The internet was pretty good though and they left two bottles of mineral water in the room.
We checked in around 1045pm. Got Room 137. Big spacious room with sofa and massage chair which was out of order and broken knots. Big bathroom with sauna and fancy shower. Aircon remote are only written in Chinese. Ceiling have unprofessional patchwork. Window did not have a view and no blinds.
Pros: - located in city center, 15mins walk to night market. - budget choice - good Taiwan style breakfast - hot and strong bath water - quick Wifi in rooms Cons: - 4-5marks out of 10 in all area, room rate are low, don't expect too much.
