Economical hotel with new property~
Enjoy Kindness Day stay in Tainan, but still have some pros and cons:
Pros:
1. Quite new hotel with clean room and restaurant
2. Offer FOC afternoon tea and happy hour for every guests! Good food and features snack, especially dry medicine fruit, recommended.
3. Parking lot is also FOC.
4. Toilet has washlet.

Cons:
1. Opposite building is under construction, quite annoying.
2. Elevator has smelling.
3. Room was tinny space without bathtub.

Overall, Kindness Day is good for businessman for short stay! Nice try!

I stayed at the Kindness Day Hotel, situated on the 6th floor in a Superior Family Room. The room featured excellent air conditioning, blackout curtains, and a double bed. It was well-structured with ample counter space in both the room and bathroom. The room was stocked with towels, bathroom amenities, coffee, tea, and water, including a fridge.

The hotel offered a small balcony which was nice for getting fresh air and watching the sunset.

Breakfast was available until 11 AM, boasting a great selection mainly focused on Asian dishes, complemented by cereal and toast. Ice cream, cookies, and drinks were available throughout the day. In the evening, from 7-10 PM, we were allowed one drink—either juice or beer—and enjoyed a buffet with a pretty good selection of food.

Parking was great and easy to use. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and spoke really good English. The hotel also provided free laundry facilities with three washers and dryers.

Check-out is at noon, which was appreciated as it gave us extra time compared to other places we stayed with an 11 AM check-out.

The location was decent, halfway between Anping and the West Central district. It was a 40-minute walk to Anping Fort and a 30-minute walk to the Tainan Confucius Temple. Taxis or Uber were readily available for those who preferred not to walk or did not have a car.

Close by, a great coffee and lunch spot called Beefcake Coffee Roasters was just a 2-minute walk away. Across the street, a fun bar named The One offered excellent cocktails and fried chicken, along with a lovely view of the river.

One area for improvement would be the bathroom lighting. It would be beneficial to add a light above the bathroom mirror that faces downward, as the current lighting in the bathroom is low. Although there is a light built into the top of the bathroom mirror, it’s not bright and faces upward, making it challenging to apply makeup. Aside from this small issue, our stay at the hotel was truly fantastic.

Stayed two nights in a leisurely double room. We picked this hotel as it was the only place we found with self-service laundry near the Anping District. We knew from the reviews that their rooms were small but we thought we would be out sightseeing most of the time.

Unfortunately, our stay coincided with the visit of a typhoon and most of Tainan was shut down for two days. With an active three-year-old, it was impossible for us to stay for long in our tiny room, which barely had space for us to move around with our suitcases open. Luckily, our friends told us about a shopping mall that was opened on the other side of the city and we spent most of our time there.

The self-service laundry with three machines and three dryers was very clean and user-friendly. They even had a sign saying they would send our clothes to our room if we didn’t have time to collect them.

The hotel offered breakfast in the morning and light dinner in the evening. Ice-cream was also available throughout the day. Food was in general very good. The only thing we could find fault with was that they did not provide fruit juice. They did have some sort of fruit vinegar but it was too sour for our kid.

Overall speaking, it was a pleasant stay. However, if we did not have to do laundry, we would probably opt for bigger rooms elsewhere.

Starting from the year before the high-speed gas explosion at Seven Sands,
All the way to the coral bridge of the Nanjing building in front of the pandemic,
For so many years, so many stays, front desk / roommate / dining, never let me disappoint and give me an amazing fill.
However, this year I mistakenly thought that the Con Bridge Slow Trip was as good as them, although the former hardware was relatively new, but it was not highlighted.

The front desk staff, whatever the situation,
When you process the front guest check in,
Neither should you steal private speech while standing in front of your guest with your colleagues, this is extremely unprofessional!

Room / bathroom space is small. There is no sound insulation in the room, and the door is shadowed. The bathroom can be hung clothes / towels, only handles on the shower door.

The mattress / pillow is very soft, people who are used to sleeping with a slightly hard mattress, have the possibility of back pain.

The laundry room is another entrance to the entire Inn and needs to exit from the front door. It is recommended that girls should be accompanied by one person.

The night of 7pm-10pm, the color/taste of the dish is very disappointing. Friends who have been staying in other Conbridge, do not expect to have a great and honest night in Conbridge!

The accommodation costs around 2,000 yuan, and the brand-new hotel also comes with afternoon tea and all-you-can-eat dinner. Can you believe it? Let’s unpack the Slow Travel in Tainan Kangqiao in case you’re hungry

Five quick thoughts:
1. Afternoon tea and dinner are all free!
2. The house price is around 2,000 yuan and there is really no rival.
3. The brand new hotel is clean and comfortable to stay in
4. The room is small but stylishly designed and well-equipped.
5. Self-service laundry and drying are free and laundry detergent and laundry bags are provided.

/Room Type/ Double Balcony Room
1. The smell of cheap fragrance in the corridor, it is recommended to replace it
2. The corridor design is calm and low-key, and the quality is better than that of ordinary business travelers.
3. The bathroom is small but the wet and dry separation is complete, and the movement of the door will cause conflicts.
4. The room is small but fully equipped with work desk, hanging clothes, seats and balcony.

/meals/
<Afternoon Tea>
1. Pancakes, malt cakes, and candied fruits from local stores in Tainan
2. Six kinds of herbal tea
3. Two MF coffee machines and UCC coffee beans
4. Options include chocolate milk and milk tea, catering to non-coffee fans
5. Eight ice cream flavors
6. Unlimited supply of drinks and ice cream 24 hours a day

<Dinner>
1. Both meat and vegetarian options are available
2. Suzaku curry rice is so delicious that it knocks out a lot of restaurants
3. There are few items but they are carefully prepared, including chicken drumsticks, side dishes, and oden
4. Can be redeemed for two glasses of wine or a bottle of imported soda
5. The joint supply of Suzaku Curry Rice will be available until 2024/2/29

<Breakfast>
1. All meals are labeled with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options
2. There are many choices for diet control
3. The arrangement of meals is very particular, even the pasta is rolled up and put away.
4. We attach great importance to the cleanliness of the restaurant and the tidiness of the self-service area, and keep it neat and tidy at all times.
5. The bread area provides a toast baking station and a small thick slice oven
6. The above are all implemented in hotels with average price of over 2,000 yuan. Other restaurants should learn from this.

/facility/
<Laundry>
1. Enter by induction with room card
2. Washing machines and dryers are free to use
3. Provide laundry bags and washing powder

/Experience/
The CP value of Slow Travel Kangqiao is incredible, which makes my wallet feel happy. There is an unlimited supply of snacks 24 hours a day, free dinner, and a hearty breakfast. The house price is around 2,000 yuan, which completely beats hotels in the same price range.

I will recommend this hotel to all my friends when they travel to Tainan in the future. As long as they maintain their standards, there will be absolutely no other rivals.

The only thing I think is that it is a pity that they named it Slow Hotel Kangqiao because it will be confused with the original Kangqiao Business Hotel. Don’t consumers know that Kangqiao’s Slow Travel is completely different from business travel? How about using the English name Kindness Day Hotel?
